This was yesterday and it is Minneapolis, in the middle of the day, during a rain storm, at the busy intersection of Lake Street and Bloomington Ave. Three federal agencies, FBI, ATF and DHS conducting a search of a restaurant where it was believed that a money laundering operation, a human trafficking operation and a drug smuggling operation were taking place, right under our noses, in one of the busiest areas of town and no arrests were made and no property seized. I’m posting the article written by Minnesota Public Radio, MPR as there are pictures of what occured and the protests and the police, who had no prior knowledge that the raid was taking place, who showed up after the federal agents had their guns drawn and were blocking the intersection. This operation was at the very least dangerously stupid but I think we are there, we are at the authoritarian military stage of this administration.
