Russian AWACS-The News is not good [1]

Ukraine released the footage of the drone strike against the A-50 AWACS planes, and the planes that were hit were out of service and not functional.

See the part that I have circled in red. The left side engines are missing from the pylons, which is not a quick job, so this plane was not in service.

(though it also is never coming back into service, either)

But how this will degrade the Russian Air Force’s capabilities is anyone’s guess, as there is no telling if the plane was even functional before this and just being used for spare parts.
