The Apache County Democrats are launching our Second Quarter Fundraising Drive, and we need your help to bring democracy to every corner of our county.

We are raising funds to support a robust voter registration and community engagement campaign from May through July. Our goal is simple: meet voters where they are, get them registered, provide midterm election information, and build lasting civic participation across Apache County.

This effort isn’t just about voter registration–it’s about rebuilding trust in our electoral process and showing up for our communities.

This quarter, we’re organizing bi-monthly voter registration drives across the entire county, from the northern borders to the southernmost communities. We’ll be tabling at high-traffic locations, community events, and local gatherings, bringing voter registration directly to the people. At each event, we’ll help residents check and update their registration, answer questions about the 2026 mid-terms, and provide civic education to empower informed voting.

During the last election cycle, many of our communities experienced challenges at the polls. Voters were turned away, ballots were lost or mishandled, and there was a lack of clear communication. These incidents shook public confidence in the process and left too many community members feeling unheard and unrepresented.

That’s why we’re not waiting until election season to act. We’re getting out early, on the ground ahead of the mid-term elections to make sure that what happened last time doesn’t happen again.

From canopies to clipboards, we bring the tools needed to show up where our people already are. Help us find the essentials that make these moments possible.

These events require basic but essential supplies–canopies, tables, clipboards, banners, water, snacks, and printed materials. And because many parts of Apache County lack reliable internet or cell service, and many residents don’t have formal street addresses, we rely on offline tools like downloaded Google Maps and Google Plus Codes to ensure every eligible voter can be properly registered, no matter where they live. This work takes planning and coordination. Your donation ensures that our volunteers are equipped to have meaningful conversations with voters and provide the tools they need to take part in our democracy.

In addition to voter registration, our team is committed to serving our communities through local service projects like trash pickups and neighborhood cleanups. We believe that civic engagement is more than voting–it’s about showing up and improving our shared spaces together and investing in the places we call home.

We're also launching quarterly community engagement events such as town halls, civic forums, roundtable discussions, and resource fairs so voters can engage with the issues that matter to them most, ask questions, and make their voices heard.

This work is about more than events. It’s about being active, present, and visible. We’re committed to making sure Apache County voters know that Democrats are here, we care, and we are working hard year-round to protect their rights, represent their interests, and rebuild confidence in our democratic process.

We’ve built a strong second-quarter events calendar, and now we need your help to bring it to life.

Donate today via our ActBlue account and be part of this critical work. Whether it’s $5, $25, or $100, every dollar goes directly towards powering voter registration and community engagement in Apache County.
