Mission Impossible: A New Ukrainian Card [1]

While the theaters were overflowing with viewers watching the latest screening of the Mission Impossible series, Ukraine threw down a new card that is changing the game and modern warfare. A coordinated attack worthy of Hollywood imagination, of blockbuster proportions took out Russia’s strategic assets spread out over a nation that has eleven time zones. Across many of the news platforms there are many looks back to the Zelenskyy’s drubbing by Trump and Vance in the oval office saying you have no cards. This puts more egg on the face of the TACO president adding more insult to the injury of his ego. Yet the stable genius continues to back the probable wrong horse in this war.

Ukraine has been slowly changing the face of modern warfare throughout its defense of its sovereignty from a brutal Russian invasion. The implications of this operation are being felt on a global scale and recalculations on the safety and security of warfighting assets both strategic and tactical are being done or need to be done by all governments. The unrevealed concern governments will have to face is the use of this type of warfare by clandestine, criminal or domestic terrorist within their own borders.

We have all seen the drone shows on the AGT stage and complementing firework shows on holidays. In fact some of the contestant’s on AGT were Ukrainian using revolutionary technology. The same technology that coordinates those displays may have been public proof of concept for the Russian attack. Could such technology be used by a lone wolf or small cell attacker? What are the clues that would indicate such an attack? What counter measures can be employed? These are the questions for police and homeland security type forces. Can the current leadership of the FBI Patel and Bongino, be turned from investigations into conspiracies theories to threat evaluations of this type of attack? How about if this type of attack were used to attack billionaires or Multicorporations, a super yacht here a Tesla dealership there or even a Mar-a-lago, maybe then the super-rich might be willing to pay their fair share into the national budget.

A new era is here. Warfare is changed. A cheaper and effective alternative to more expensive weaponry has been demonstrated, the challenge has to be meet by all governments.
