The Truth about Palestinian students [1]

['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.']

Palestinian students in the US have been discussed quite a bit in the media lately. They have been targeted for deportation by agents of the White House. A number have been kicked out of the US by ICE. More have been seized and detained for extended periods.

Accusations

Many students have been accused of criticizing the president for his refusal to help the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. However, criticizing the president is legal in this country.

At other times, the students have been accused of disturbing the peace and interfering with the activities of the their schools. Obviously ,the Administration says, they must be removed.

This is a baseless charge. The White House is not trying to protect universities. They are fishing for excuses to arrest the students and start the deportation process.

Not everyone is treated this way. Look at the actions of the people demonstrating for reproductive freedom. They get loud, frequently engage in verbal confrontations, obstruct the flow of the daily business, etc. They generally raise Hell. Yet they are not hassled or arrested. Why? Because they are not Palestinian.

Did the demonstrating students decide the election? Maybe or maybe not. I blame the increasing price pf groceries. The bird flu wiped out bunches of laying hens, which reduced the number of eggs available, which in turn caused the price to soar. Erratic changes in rain and sunshine patterns, especially in the tropical zone, did a number on coffee and chocolate trees. Prices rose. Local areas of drought plagued farmers in the temperate zones and everything became more expensive

Too many people ignore climate change and have little understanding of these changes. Faced with variations from the norm, they become anxious. Candidate Trump promised to fix everything, which of course was a lie. However, many people clung to those lies and thus determined the election..

The Accusers

The Palestinian students are targeted by an international group of very rich and therefore powerful people. These are the oligarchs that Bernie Sanders and AOC talk about in their rallies. The entire White House may be included in that group, along with President Trump.

The oligarchs do not hate Palestinians. They merely want Gaza and the Palestinians are in the way.

Gaza and the Oligarchy

President Trump speaks about Gaza occasionally. Because he is the President, his comments are noted by the media and published so they are a matter of public record. There is almost no pushback except for the Palestinian students.

The oligarchy, as a group, are not shy about complaining to the Administration about things they disagree with. They have been silent about taking over Gaza. Because of this lack of pushback, we can infer they do not object to the Trump plans. The either do not care or they are in on the game.

President Trump and the oligarchs want Gaza to build a luxury seaside resort on the Mediterranean shore. They are excited over the prospect of beach front property.

The plan is to depopulate Gaza and develop the area. This includes having the current occupants of Gaza removed. Whether the Palestinians are relocated or killed is not discussed.

President Trump has suggested relocating them to Libya. I am not at all sure how that would work out.

Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu

Some Israelis have expressed an interest [obsession?] in both Gaza and the West bank to be used for settlements. They want the whole territory.

PM Netanyahu is difficult to read, as he has so many secrets. However, we can see that he holds on to his office by pleasing those who lust after empire. These hungry people would support a war for territory. This may explain why he has shown no real interest in ending the war.

Rumor states that the Prime Minister is clinging to his office to avoid prison from his expected conviction in the trial for corruption. However, I have no proof of this.

The war started against Hamas but has evolve into a war against the Palestinian people. I hate to call it genocide but sometimes it looks that way.

In closing

There probably be other groups targeted in the future, more casualties of the competition for resources. Before we judge the victims, we would do well to follow the money in our search for understanding.
