Multiple returnees reported that Russian authorities offered them enlistment in the Russian military in exchange for release and citizenship. They refused and now some of them express interest in joining the Ukrainian army instead. "They [Russians] kidnapped these people to trade with them. Previously, deportation of this category of people happened through Georgia. Now an order was given from above to hold them to use them like this," said the head of the organization "Protection of Prisoners of Ukraine" Oleh Tsvilyy.
Remember the video from a few days ago of a Russian soldier who was just sitting still in a field while a drone hovered over him before killing him?
Well, that’s apparently a big thing now for the pro-Putinists who cry and whine that it was a war crime.
Sorry, not sorry. He was a soldier fighting for the invading army. He was a legit target.
x Every russian invader deserves an FPV drone into their face for all that they have done, and are doing to my people. And they are doing a lot. It is documented, it is reported, it is proven. Truth doesn't care, it just is, no matter how much empathy for russians you have. #Ukraine #UkrainianView — Roman Yeremenko (@roalyr.bsky.social) May 29, 2025 at 7:39 PM

Life in Kharkiv
x A writing on the wall of a cafe in Kharkiv.
Our current life is in those four lines written by Vitalii Lisovytskyy: "Put on your warmest pants,
Or your feet will get cold in the shelter.
I have loved you long before the war,
And I'll say that on Victory Day."
