Trump doesn't understand the Congressional Budget Office [1]

What Trump doesn't understand, he hates. What he hates, he kills. When he can't kill it, he complains. When that doesn't get anybody's attention, he whines.

He now hates the Congressional Budget Office.

"The Democrat inspired and 'controlled' Congressional Budget Office (CBO)..."

Democrat "inspired" doesn't quite fit because it was President Richard Nixon that signed the act, creating it in 1974.

The Director is Phillip Swagel, a Republican, and he was nominated by Trump in 2019. So, "controlled" doesn't work either.

"...purposefully gave us an EXTREMELY LOW level of Growth, 1.8% over 10 years."

I'm surprised that there's any growth at all being predicted considering what you're doing to the economy on a regular business with your flip flops and TACO form of governing.

"How ridiculous and unpatriotic is that?"

This is not a matter of patriotism, it's a matter of math using predictable number crunching. Formulas that have worked for 50 years. Time for Donald to take that remedial math class at Harvard.

"They did the same thing to us in 2017, and we DOUBLED their numbers."

Not hardly. The CBO predicted a 2.2% growth in GDP for 2017, but the actual was 2.0%. Your great economy was never great.

"The information they released is even more absurd and indefensible."

Well, they were overly optimistic in 2017. They should be predicting a contraction in the GDP this year.

"I predict we will do 3, 4, even 5 times the amount they purposefully "allotted" to us."

You are bad at everything else, why should predictions be any different?

"... with just our minimum expected 3% Growth, we will more than offset our Tax Cuts (which will, in actuality, cost us no money!).

Tax cuts cost us no money. Of course they cost us money. $4 trillion in 10 years. I predict it for 2 years. The next 2 years will be another $4 trillion, making a $8 trillion added to the national debt, just like in your first term. But wait, there's still a lot more you can add to the debt, which you have, by causing treasury bond interest rates to rise, meaning it costs even more just to service the debt. Interest payments were $882 billion in 2024. More than the $874 billion Defense Dept. budget. It will be much worse for 2025.

What could we expect from Trump? He doesn't understand tariffs are taxes, no matter how many times he is told.

Once again, Donald has found another way to show his cognitive decline. He's probably got a gold piggy bank in the Oval Office that on a regular basis he deposits one of his crypto coins in physical form. He thinks that's his way of saving the economy.

He'll never learn.
