Trump? No!
He doesn’t embody
American ideals.
He is
all

Bluster
Boastfulness
Bombast
all

Shallow
Showy
Stupid

B$ll Sh#t
Vance
the Catholic convert
with no compassion
Even Pope Leo XIV
rooting for the White Sox or
serving the poor in Peru
knows that the underdog
is deserving of compassion
Vance
who lives in a
tiny bubble of compassion
is so clueless
that he could never
speak for America
Rubio
Secretary of Something
has revealed
a hidden dark side
a little bully
but a bully none-the-less
who destroys the lives
of international students
who rejects due process
who wields power
without conscience
his immigrant parents
though dead
would be filled with shame
none of his words
benefit America
The Chief Justice
could speak years ago
but he traded virtue away
countless decisions ago
siding with the powerful
taking long held rights away
playing the partisan card
again and again
he can barely speak for himself
Distrusting justice
America no longer listens &
Lady Justice weeps
In the Before Time

Bold, Beautiful, Brave
born in 1942
speaking
truth to power
hope to despair
courage to captives
reason to madness
virtue to struggle
light to darkness
The Voice of America

for 80+ years
generations empowered
but now
the voice
those countless voices
are being silenced
by a crude, little, pathetic man
who has decided to
end the American century early
But
not all
surrender
give up
some
stand firm
speaking out
they
carry the light
into places
where hope is dim
and truth is under attack
More each day
Add your voice
for America
join others in speaking
on becoming
together
the new
Voice of America
