Trump almost doesn't defile Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial Day [1]

I was worried he'd talk about trophy wives and his indictments at Arlington National Cemetery like he did at West Point. You be the judge if he did worse. It's not a major infraction like the last time.
"... thanks also to a man who has devoted his life to service members and veterans, Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, who's doing well. He went through a lot, didn't he? But he's doing really well, he's a tough cookie. That's what we want, a tough cookie."
I don't want a tough cookie. I prefer mine soft and chewey. Oh, poor Pete. He had to answer to those nasty Democrats that didn't want a drunk on the job. They were proven right with SignalGate.
He actually had some good words, not calling the fallen suckers and losers, then he went downhill.
"Their valor gave us the freest and most noble republic ever to exist on the face of the earth, a republic that I am fixing after a long and hard 4 years. That was a hard 4 years that we went through. Who would let that happen? People pouring through our borders unchecked, people that are doing things indescribable and not for today to discuss."
So why the hell did you bring it up? And why take another shot at Joe Biden? If you think what you're doing is fixing the republic, you should talk to Julius Caesar. Just remember how that worked out. Sic semper tyrannis.
He actually recounted some stories of heroism and called out the families they left behind. Then, suddenly, it was all about him.
"We're gonna have a big, big celebration, as you know, 250 years. In some ways I'm glad I missed that second term where it was because I wouldn't be your president for that. Most important of all, in addition we have the World Cup and we have the Olympics. Can you imagine? I missed that 4 years and now look what I have, I have everything. Amazing how things work out...The 250 years was not mine, I'd like to take credit for it. But, I got the Olympics. I got the World Cup when I was president, and I said boy, it's too bad I wouldn't be president then, and look what happened."
Hitler was also pleased to have the 1936 Olympics. They even had television to show it. But it's all about me, me, me, me, me. I did this, I got that. "I missed that 4 years, and now I have everything." Yup. $400 million Bribe Force One. Stealing from the small crypto investors. Gigantic bribes of hotels, towers, and golf courses across the MidEast. You do have everything and should be impeached for it.
Then he had some more good words about those fallen in battle and heroism.
He almost stuck to the written speech. It wasn't a long speech, and he didn't deviate except for the three sections I used here.
The wreath ceremony went okay. This time, he didn't go dancing on graves and thumbs-up photo ops like he did last August. He almost acted like a president. Almost.
There were a lot of audience seats unoccupied. I wonder why.
