Our Fallen Service Members Are Not "Suckers and Losers" [1]

On this Memorial Day, in this particular year, it seems imperative to state, categorically, the following: The fallen service members of the United States, for whom we mark Memorial Day, are not “suckers and losers.” Any person who has suggested differently, be it explicitly or implicitly, demonstrates such an egregious lack of character as to rationally disqualify them from any position of authority. Furthermore, for those who might support such a person, now would be a good time to re-examine, not only their priorities, but their very morality. On this Memorial Day may we remember, in particular, those who have fallen fighting Fascism in defense of democracy. They knew what they were fighting for.
