URGENT: H.R.1 One Big Beautiful is OUTRAGEIOUS! VOTE NAY!
ACT NOW before the next round of votes. CALL or EMAIL your elected officials or mail this letter if you DISAGREE with this proposed budget of the $3.8 trillion extension of Trump’s 2017 tax cuts, which disproportionately benefit the wealthy and corporations.

Please vote NAY on passing the H.R.1 - 119th Congress (2025-2026): One Big Beautiful Bill Act | Congress.gov | Library of Congress.
TheH.R.1 Act is crammed with so much to finalize a dictator role. Congress must stop it NOW.
TAKING FROM THE POOR, GIVING TO THE RICH[1]
On May 22, 2025, The House of Representatives passed the Republicans’ mega bill by a vote of 215 to 214. Chair of the far-right House Freedom Caucus Andy Harris of Maryland voted “present” (the tie-breaker). Thank you to Republican Representatives Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Warren Davidson of Ohio for their NAY votes.
The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said that Americans in the lowest tenth of earners will lose money under the measure while people in the top five percent of earners will see a tax cut of $117.2 billion. Here is just one example:
H.R.1 cuts at least $715 billion in healthcare spending (mostly from Medicaid), and $300 billion from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and Medicare by an estimated $500 billion.
Economist Robert Reich points out that Americans making between:
less than $17,000 will lose more than $1,000 a year .
$17,000 and $51,000 will lose about $700 a year .
But if you are among the top 0.1% of earners, you’re in luck: you’ll gain nearly $390,000 a year .
MAGA leaders want to get rid of laws that make it harder for them to monopolize the nation’s wealth and power and are using racism to get voters to support them. Taking down the rule of law would permit MAGA officials to persecute their political opponents, indicting congressional representatives, for example, as it has recently done to Representative LaMonica McIver (D-NJ). It would also permit the concentration of wealth and power without fear of breaking the law.
Take back Congress’s legislative control and stop this madness and vote NAY on H.R.1.
We must stand up and speak out, not because something is left or right,
but if it is right or wrong.
