Back while I was traveling around the country in a DIY campervan, I visited over 150 cities and towns in 47 states. In all of them, I always made it a point to visit particular things: science museums, historical spots, zoos, and especially aviation museums. I’ve been an aviation junkie ever since I was a kid riding in a tourist helicopter over Mt Rushmore in South Dakota.

So here are some photos over the years from some aviation museums, focusing on the smaller museums and the more unusual/rare aircraft.
