The Big Beautiful Bill from Hell [1]

I was watching The Last Word and Lawrence had on a Representative from New York, and while he was talking to him the Congressional Budget Office said that the interrelation between the Medicaid and other cuts, it was also going to cut $500 billion in Medicare.
The word Medicare doesn't show anywhere in this big beautiful bill, the cuts are happening anyway.
The things that are in this bill is going to cost Republican Representatives their seat next year. Their other option is to vote against the bill and face Trump's wrath. If they vote for the bill, that will be useless because 4 Republicans in the Senate will vote against the bill anyway.
The bill was still being debated when the sun rose on Wednesday.
"If you think this ugly bill is so damn beautiful, like Trump keeps saying, you should have the courage to debate it in primetime," said Rep. Jim McGovern, the ranking member of the Rule Committee at the start of the debate.
The cruelest cuts of all are to Medicaid, SNAP and Medicare. The number bandied about is 13 million people kicked off of Medicaid with no health care coverage at all.
The estimates of the true cost of the bill are astounding. Just extending the 2017 tax cuts, according to Moody's, would cost $4 trillion over a decade. Penn Wharton Budget Model says $4.6 trillion. The Joint Committee on Tax says the House reconciliation bill would cost $3.8 trillion through 2034.
There is talk about a SALT cap. State And Local Taxes is what SALT means. Before Trump, those taxes were all deductible. Trump is talking like they're being given for the first time. He's just giving back what he took away, almost. The New York Post spotted a line in the bill for PTET, pass through entity taxes, which is used service businesses like lawyers, accountants, doctors, dentists and veterinarians, among others. This to try to make up for the loss with SALT cap being moved to $30,000 from the current $10,000 for those making less than $431,000 annually. This is seen as a reason why businesses will flee New York, because of the taxes.
The cuts to Medicaid don't just knock people off the program altogether, those that are left have new work requirements. If you're 19 to 64, you have to work 80 hours a month to keep them. All the reporting red tape in constantly having to report means people will drop off for that reason as well.
Without those Medicaid payments, hospitals could start closing.
Food stamps, SNAP, qualification changes could mean people only get money for 3 months out of a 36 month period. Again more work requirements and less money if there are no dependent children. States will have to bear 5% on the costs starting in 2028. States with high error rates could hit 25% of the cost. States would have to cover 75% of administrative costs instead of 50%.
Work requirements could cut off 11 million people. Grocery stores will see less traffic, jeopardizing their operations.
The bill was still being debated in the Rules Committee at 8am ET. Once the committee advances the bill it can be debated and voted on in the full House. Mike Johnson wants it done by Memorial Day.
If you've a mind to, you can read the 47 page outline of the bill as of May 12th. (PDF). The full bill is supposedly over 1,000 pages.
389 pages of Amendments (PDF).
Changes to provisions seem to be happening on a hourly basis.
Opposition to parts of the bill also is increasing. It could easily happen that so many Republican House members are "no" votes that it never gets to the Senate. Those that ignore the hardships to their constituents will bear the brunt of the criticism. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
It's a big bill, but it sure as hell isn't beautiful.

Update:
I accidentally forgot to put in this part of the story where Trump said he didn't want anything in the bill to help Democratic states and governors, only Republican.
"I mean, don't want to benefit Democrat governors, although I would do that if it made it better, but they don't know what they're doing."
Trump still doesn't know the difference between Democrat and Democratic.
In particular he didn't want to help Governor Gavin "Newscum."
