The EU has announced new sanctions targeting Russia’s shadow fleet of oil tankers.

Because he was saving the personnel, because he did not bring [the generals] money, did not pay them – in the literal sense of the word." 7/ Klochkov is said to have been replaced as battalion commander by Kurabek Abdullayevich Karaev, call sign "Resort", who has a suspended sentence for abuse of office and extortion, and according to the soldier has an extensive record of corruption. 8/ "Since 2022, he has had 3 apartments in Donetsk registered in his name, which he rents out. Plus 2 military stores, where all the humanitarian aid is sold."
