Most media and law enforcement dropped the ball despite all the in-the-public clues that Trump was planning to steal the 2020 election on January 6th. And now they are ignoring the obvious indications that Trump is planning to destroy Democracy with a self-coup. Of the three or four connected plans in 2019, the recruitment of the physical disruptor (Be there it will be wild) militias was both public and private but many members of the KOS community knew something was being brewed. There are some of the same indications now but this time the muscle will be more official. To not bury the lead, Trump may attempt to use the some of the military assembled in Washington DC for the June 14 parade, more likely in the immediate week after that date probably Juneteenth, for an Executive coup. Or in typical Trump entertainment fashion “Seven Days in May” but now greater than ever in June.
Now that we have become numb to ridiculous spectacles of top members of agency leadership, including top Generals, being summarily dismissed, carefully watch for which military Brass are in place as Flag Day (Trump birthday) Parade kicks off. Particularly which ones have a history of troubling actions in their past such as overt political statements or actions.
Second leg of the coup stool is the recent executive order inserting the military into close association with every previously civilian police force in the nation. A national militarized police force will be essential for the local implementation of the dictatorship.
Third is when it is realized that the primary reason DOGE was initiated and carried out was the deep and wide collection of personal information from every agency on nearly every American citizen. In the coming tyranny every aspect of your life can be twisted and criminalized. And since Habeas Corpus is in the past, your Central American vacation will not be Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
Failure depends on every level of the Military refusing to carry out illegal orders. This would make the putsch fail. Putin has already shown Trump the way to prevent desertions from the front lines by killing or arresting anyone not strictly following orders. Trump’s increasing lack of patience and urge to immediate action like pardoning all the insurrectionists instead of case by case and refusing migrants a few hours of administrative hearing in favor of mass deportation, and an overwhelming loss in the courts of his executive actions all point to action now.
