Jake Tapper must be forced to step forward and explain the Jamie Harrison incident [1]

So this seems like a pretty big thing. Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson wrote in their book original sin that Biden shook Harrison’s hand when he was DNC chair but did not recognize him. Jamie Harrison has publicly stated that this did not happen. Politico sent a right-wing flack out to say that Harrison is lying. This is incredibly cowardly on the part of Tapper who has the biggest platform and highest profile. If this happened with a serious research it would probably lead to a board of inquiry exploring the entire work.
Tapper must
Openly call Harrison a liar.
Explain in detail why Harrison is a liar.
Apologize to both Biden and Harrison if he cannot prove the incident
Release an extended explanatory text that explains all sourcing in their book.
Obviously if he has proof of the Harrison incident he does not have to do all of these, but he needs to release the proof with a viable claim that it is not him but Harrison who is the liar. Otherwise he should take a voluntary leave.
The trouble is most media people do not hold each other accountable. It is actually the opposite, they try and disappear it as quickly as possible.
That means social media needs to explore. Even if Tapper is your buddy we need to get him to respond. The pressure needs to be unrelenting.
By the way any Democrat who does a mea culpa over Biden’s alleged decline should face a primary in 2026.
