I translated German dukomentary about the Trump, Musk, Putin connection. That could be interesting for many of the readers at DKos.
First and foremost since I am native German speaker and not a professional writer, I want to appologize for possible mistakes and gramatical errors.
To understand what makes this documantary so interesting you need to understand the German/EU laws, thats why I have to explain a litte bit.
At first you need to know the 1st articel of the German constitution
(3) The following basic rights shall bind the legislature, the executive and the judiciary as directly applicable law.
(2) The German people therefore acknowledge inviolable and inalienable human rights as the basis of every community, of peace and of justice in the world.
(1) Human dignity shall be inviolable. To respect and protect it shall be the duty of all state authority.
Because of this article it is.. lets say problematic to openly lie in official madia.
(For example, for his blatand lies Tucker Carlson might be even in jail in Germany right now)
While not telling everything is still used to manipulate the audience by German media, if you tell something you need to proof that you checked the information or if you cant you need to tell that the information cant be independently verified. (That also happens some times in this video).
So at least official German media outlets stay true to the laws and the ZDF as the official second German television channel is pretty trustworthy. Especially since the ZDF is partly state founded and has a contract with the German state. In §6 (1) tells that the ZDF has to report truthfully and factual.
So we can assume, that the contend is not just some conspiracy theories.

- Is it just admiration for an autocrat or is ther more behind it.
Yuro Shvets (Former KGB agent):
-Donald Trump had been recruited by using money and othe psychological factors.

-The tech oligarchs see themselves as gods of a new world.

- After 4 years pause Donlad Trump is sweared in as president of the United States for the 2nd time. The world is rubbing its eyes seeing how fast Trump destroys in his 2nd term what america itsel has build up.
David Frum (Former writer for G.W. Bush):
- The 2nd term is different. Trump knows what he wants. Trump knows how the government is working. And while Trump is still lazy this time Trump is surrounded by people sharing his idiology and helping him to implement it.
- Everything is much more faster. The dismantling of NATO, the trade war, the intimidation of the neighbours, esp. Canda and Denmark.
Trump:
- We need Greenland for our national and international security

- He wants to annex Canada and Greenland into america, he lets down ukraine, cracking the western unity.
- He is stating, that the invasion is Ukraines fault. Only one party applauds.

- Thats one of the reasons why Putin supports Trump.
Putin just openly repeated what he allready said behind closed doors. Do with NATO how we do with Ukraine. According to the motto: The strong do what they can, the weak suffer what they have to.

- Why this special relation between Putin and Trump does exist, that is the big question.
Its existance is obvious. Trump seems to trust no one except Vladimir Putin. He like no one except Vladimir Putin. He listens to no one except Vladimir Putin. And he does things against his own interests just to help Vladimir Putin.

- Again and again Donald Trump emphasizes his admiration of Vladimir Putin. Sometimes calling him a friend, sometimes a genious, sometimes a strong leader. Calls Putins pressure on Ukraine before his invasions as brilliant.
Trump:
- I say this is genious. Putin declares a big part of Ukraine as independent. Oh, thats wonderful. So Putins says this part of Ukraine is independent and I say: Hos smart is that. And he enters as peacekeeper. Such a peace keeping force we could us on our southern border. Thats the strongest peace force I ever saw. More tanks I ever saw. They will keep peace alright.
David Frum:
- There are 4 theories why he (Trump) does this. I start with the one I believe the least: Blackmail.
- I do not think you can blackmail a person without any feeling of shame.

- So we have the remaining three, corruption, idiology and vanity. It seems to be a mixture of all three.
- About vanity I believe Putin has analized Trump, who is a pathetic person in many was, pretty good. He needs continous flattery. Putins needs riches and power. But Trump only needs satisfaction of his ego and Putin can manipulate this emotions very skillfull.
Narrator:
- Putin calls Trump a brilliant leader. In an interview sahared at Telegram in Feburary 2025 he flatters Trumps ego, turning him into a strong man able to get europe under control.
Putin:
- I assure you, with his character, with his perseverance, Trump wil set things right pretty fast. You will see, it will haben fast and soon. Thy will all stand at the foot of their master and kindly wag their tails

- Sentences according to the taste of a man who spreads those pictures of himself and the white house (Frontpage with Trump as king)
David Frum:
- Do not overlook the corruption. For 20 years Trump is getting money from Russia the one or the other way. And he often got the money when he was pretty needy. And mabye he is hoping for more money. In addition Putin showed him how he can get as rich as Putin himself. Trump is surely a rich man, but Putin is on a different level of the building.
Narrator:
- For decades he does business with Russian gangsters and oligarchs.The Trumptower is getting a point of attraction for Russian crime syndicates.
- When he was broke again and could not pay of a loan, an Putin trusted oligarch jumps in, Dmitri Rybolowlew.
- In the middle of a finance crisis he is buying an estate from Trump for 95 million USD wich Trump has bought 4 years before for only 41 million USD.
- Trumps son Donald jr is making in a statement at an interview in 2008 no secreet, what is the origin of the money that is flowing into Trump business again and again.
Quote: "Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets, say, in Dubai, and certainly with our project in SoHo and anywhere in New York. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia."
David Frum:
- And at last there is the idiological aspect. Especially important for the persons surounding him (Trump). Many of them despise the liberal democracy. Most likely because it limits how rich someone can get. They want something different and Putins Russia is the best example.
- You cannot turn the US in a country like china. Cultural differences are to high.
- But you can immagine to turn the US in a country like Russia.

- Allready during his first turn, Trump wanted to destroy the democratic constitutional state from within. Declaring journalists to enemies of the people. He threatened judges, prosecutors, FBI agents, representatives and senatros. He did not want to accept his deselection in 2020 and he was ready to send the US into the abyss. America in chaos. a dream for Putin says Nina Jankowicz, once responsible for fighting desinformation in the US department of homeland security.
Nina Jankowicz:
- For Russia it is the goal to form a world wher the US is no more the dominating power. That would benefit Rusia in many ways. When we are busy with ourselfs in the US, We will ignore what Russia is doing in Ukraine, what they are doing in Venezuela, or in the central african republic. That is good for Putin.
Narrator:
- With Joe Bidens becomming the 47th president of the US, wind changes for Putin. Europe and america are getting closer again, Sweden and Finland are joinging NATO. The defense treaty getting stronger then ever. And for a moment it seems, that the US Shook Trump of like an accident in its history. Many thought Trumps reelection as imposible. But in the election campaign he had stronger support then anyone before.
Scott Horton (Lawyer):
- Its the tech bros we call them. The oligarchs focusing on the tech branch. When you cmpare the election campaigns 2016 and 2024, they are the big difference.
- This time the tech billionares bound themselves stong to Trump. They gave him alot of money and supported him in many other ways, that in my oppinion are not understood at this point.

- Scott Horton was lawyer of the famous Russian dissident Andrei Sakharov.
- Hortons network reaches deep into the center of power in the US and Russia a valued mediator between the two sides, also with the best connections into the secret services.
- Americas tech oligarchs have a goal that matches Putins interests, according to Horton.

- One thing that is common to all these people is an extrem despise for democracy and democratic institutions. Tje feeling that they are the elite and should have unrestricted power. And that they, if they can get rid of all obstacles of the modern administrative state, naturally get mighty rulers. Not just in the US but worldwide, and in europe.

- During his inauguration, the richest men of the world stad right behind the president. A demonstration of power. One particulary stands out.
Nina Jankowicz:
- Well Musk is now member of the government. He is some kind of special employee of the government. He nerly gave 300 million USD for Trumps election campaign to win over Kamala Harris and before Joe Biden right? To me this seems to be pure corruption to spend that much money for the elections to win over a political enemy and then getting a special government role for that.
Narrator:
- Donald Trumps makes Musk after his inauguration to his special emloyee to renovate the US budget, via a controversial new department DOGE. A wrecking ball for the American state as we know it.
- What many poeple do not know, this is not the idea of Trump or his people, but of him, Curtis Yarvin. A kind of thought leader of the silicon valley, supportet by the American tech oligarchs like Peter Thiel, Facebook investor and together with Elon Musk founding partner of PayPal
Gil Duran:
- In 2012 Curtis Yarvin gave a speech where he said, that something had to happen in the US he called "rage". Dismiss all governmental employees. It was a plan to take over the government. To get rid of burocracy, the officials and non political employees and replace them with persons that a loyal to a dictator. He explicitly said, if the Americans want to change their government, they have to get rid of their dictatorphobia.
Narrator:
- In Yarvins world the in his view inefficient, regulation-crazy, constitutional democratic state has to be destroyed andexchanged by a monarchy. With a king on the top with a dictator at his side who is doing the dirty work for the king, to dismount the democratic state.
Gil Duran:
- 2022 Yarvin said, if Donald Trump wins the election, he should not do the dirty work himself. He should employ a CEO who rules as a dictator over the government. Run through a massive cleaning of the burocracy. And breaks down the departments of the US government forever. You also have to oppose the judges and the courts and test how far you can break the system with noone stopping you.
Narrator:
- Right at the first day of his 2nd term, Trump signs a decree invoking this new department.
It is meant to reconstruct the American state. Make it more efficient how they call it.
- The richest man alive is getting the director of the department, Elon Musk.
- He is planing mass firings and closure of whole departments. The first one to close is USAID. A department that is meant to increase US influence with so called softpower measurements. For years, also in Russia.
Nina Jankowicz:
- Putin hates USAID. Thats why ha banned USAID 2012 in Russia. If we now dismantle this organization by ourselves, that made Putin that much furious, you have to ask: Why is that happening.
Narrator:
- Donald Trump and the tech elite are about to dismantle the US state. And there is something many do not grasp at its whole dimension.
Scott Horton:
- All thos individuals also have an exeptional concerning relationship with Russia.
It is something nearly no one in america or europe knows much about almost anything.
Johannes Hano :
- How do you know?
Scott Horton:
- Over the last two and a half years I have been visited and consultead by about a dozend FBI agents who work at counterintelligece against Russia. They very concerned about what they were observing.
Narrator:
- Salt Lake City Utah. We exclusively met one of those agents.
His statements cant be independently verifyed. But they are explosive.
Jonathan Buma:
- My name is Jonathan Buma. I was special agent of the FBI retired by a few days now.
I have been working the last 16 years for the FBI. Most of the time I specialised in Russian counterintelligence. Shortly before our interview Jonathan Buma gets arrested.
He is accused of giving classifyed information of counterintelligence operations of the FBI to journalists. His passport gets confiscated and he is bailed out for 100K USD.
Narrator:
- As an FBI agent Buma have been working at the FBI headquarters in Washington and for counterintelligence in California. And he makes grave accusations against his own government.
Jonathan Buma:
- Major counterintelligence goals of Russia are being actively carried out. You can recognize a pattern. Highly quallified and expirienced agents countering Russian espionage are pushed out and are getting attacked. This creates a vacuum at the FBI the most important department fighting those threats. That is a major success for Putins goals.
Narrator:
- FBI intelligence operations against Russia get closed down, the agents get fired or are sidelined. In march 2025 James Dennehy the chief of FBI Office of New York gets fired.
After his investigations 5 Russian agants gat prosecuted
Jonathan Buma:
- And he pushed back against the Department of Justice ordering to identify FBI special agents that were investigating the storming of the Capitol and in the field of Russian counterintelligence investigations.
Narrator:
- At the same time all cyber-operations against Russia get cancelld. And in april 2025 the resposible NSA Chief General Timothy Haugh gets also fired.
Nina Jankowicz:
- The United States have in the first months of Trumps presidency by selmselves broke down their whole counterintelligence and cybersecurity and the countering of disinformation that was build up in the last 8 years to as reaction to Russian disinformation, election interference and cyber attacks. Thats extraordinary shocking.
Narrator:
- Jonathan Buma says, he and his colleagues of the counterintelligence in California found out while investigating, what is of most important significance and politically very explosive.
Jonathan Buma:
- The Russian secret service has a routine of personality checks and psychological profiling of persons, that might be subsceptible to recruiting or takeover of Russian agents.
Musk and Thiel were beeing targeted.
Narrator:
- Buma says, he and his FBI colleagues have seen how Russian agents in California were digging deep in cooperations of rising tech oligarchs Musk and Thiel.
Especially Musk was easy game.
Jonathan Buma:
- Musks deceptability to promiscuous women and Drug consumation esp. ketamine, his gravitaion to club live and rave-parties like Burning Man and gambling in addition to adult entertainment were seen as a chance by the Russian FSB where an operative can be send in.
Narrator:
- An excessive, excentric lifestyle of the rich nd most influential persons in the world makes them susceptible for Russian recruitment. Thats the perspective of the US counterintelligence of the FBI. Thats hoe Jonathan Buma and his colleagues are seeing it as they started with their secret investigations.

- Was there a Russian operation targeting Musk and Thiel?
Jonathan Buma:
- Yes.
Johannes Hano :
- What do you know about it?
Jonathan Buma:
- I must not tell details how we got the information, but there are many proofs establishing this fact.
Johannes Hano :
- So there is evidence for this?
Jonathan Buma:
- Absolutely.
Narrator:
- According to Buma, the FBI agents saw how the Russian influence- and rucruiting operation grew bigger and bigger.
The Tech Oligarchs have been informed about it, that their private and business environment have been infiltrated by Russian agents. And that US security interests are at risk because cooperations like SpaceX had high sensible orders given by the state.
Jonathan Buma:
- Musk wasnt very receptive. He downplayed the security concerns, for example that he did not report extensive foreign contacts.
Narrator:
- In the USA there is a law that also applies to musk, the logan act.
A law prohibiting all citizens to contact officials of foreign countries without explicit approval of the government when US security issues are involved.
Jonathan Buma:
- We know, that Putin was directly involved, because the intermediaries that were supposed to contact Musk and Thiel, offered direct contct to Putin.
- They would not have done it if it was not known and approved by Putin.
Narrator:
- Jonathan Buma told us in the interview, that there was direct contact between Putin and Musk, several times.
The "Wall Street Jurnal" also reported citing anonymous sources.
- The Krmlin denied at once. There were no talks between Putin and Musk in 2022
Only once there was direct contact but that was a year before.
- Jonathan Buma is not allowed to say, how he got his information.
He would make himself liable to prosecution if he does.
What was spoken between Putin and Musk is not known.
But what happened between the talks and now speaks its own language.
The operation was a success.
Jonathan Buma:
- Spreading Russian propaganda has increased.
Musk openly spoke against the US staying in NATO
He support the US leaving NATO.
An important goal for Putin to weaken NATO.
Getting the US out of NATO would be a massive success for Putins FSB.
Narrator:
- The richest man on earth with the biggest mouthpiece on the planet, demands the US to withdraw from the co-foundet NATO and the UN. And all of it according to Buma after Musk had contact with Wladimir Putin
Jonathan Buma:
- What has been spoken at the meeting, I can tell as much as you can. But Musk is pretty clearly in line with Putins interests.
Narrator:
- 2022 Musk switched sides. He still supports in the Ukraine war because of contract with his satellites but where he once challenged Putin to duell for crimea, he now rants against support for the attacked country. Frames a Senator that wants to oppose Putin as traitor.
And again and again quoting Russian demands, kommunicating everything to the more then 600 million users of his own platform "X".
After taking over "X", the platform took a drastic change according to Nina Jankowicz.
Nina Jankowicz:
- We are certainly seeing how Russian disinformation is spread in a way never seen before.
Putin as former KGB Agent knows how to handle assets. He seems to turned Musk around, to convince him, that democracie, rule of law, souverenity are not worth standing up for.
Narrator:
- Is it possible that all of this happend under the eyes of US counterlintelligence?
Ex FBI agent Buma tells exactly that.
Evidence for the cooperation between tech companies and Putins FSB have been ignored.
Jonathan Buma:
- FBI-Manager and attorneys of the DOJ, are frightened to investigate. Especially to investigate in cases od corruption of officials with the involvement of political people.
And the Russians are eyeing it very closely. THey found out, that they have to swim around those big fish, to deprive semselves of the control.
In my oppinion it is the biggest failure in the history of US counterintelligence.

- In the Musk Trump government the hunters (FBI counterintelligence) are now the hunted.
The clearing of important government departments, the reduction or quasi dissolution of the Russian counterintelligence are a dream comming true for Putin and the FSB, according to Scott Horton
Scott Horton:
- So its basically opening door and gate to continue their activities. For me it indicates a massive direct influence of Putin and the Kremlin and a reorgenization of the government of the US.
Narrator:
- Trump never left any doubt, that he despises the system of theUS government and that he wants to bring it down.
After his election defeat in 2020, a mob incited by him is storming the capitol on january 6th 2021. The cathedral of American democracy. With his proven lies of election fraud he makes many s lose their trust in democracy. After Trumps first term America is deeply split. Trump did Russias job, according to Nancy Pelosi, former speaker of the US hause of representatives.
Nacy Pelosi:
- "A complete tool of Putin, this President is. Putin's goal was to diminish the role of – the view of democracy in the world. That's what he has been about.
And, again, his enabler has been Donald Trump for a long time. That's why I said in that photo when I'm leaving his meeting, ‘With you, Mr. President, all roads lead to Putin."
Narrator:
- Moskow, Russia in the middle of the 1980ies. It is a time of change in the Soviet Union. It is the time of Glasnost and Perstroika. The Soviet Union faces enormous economical challenges. Is about to loose the war of systems against west, against the USA.
- Here in the Lubyanka The Headquarter of the infamous soviet secret service the KGB. The chief of the foreign intelligence depatment and later chief of KGB demands a new course to recruit new foreign agents in the USA. Vladimir Kryuchkov, also boss of Vladimir Putin sends a memo to all foreign stations. The Content: "Assignment on how to recruit more valuable assets in foreign countries, in the USA."
Luke Harding (Journalist "The Guardian"):
- The KGB is planing in long terms. They did not expect results right away. They did not expect that all persons would be usefull. It was about cultivating anough people, no matter if in Africa or Manhatten, that in the next decades will rise to positions of influence.

- A KGB Colonel who swiches sides to the MI6 in the 1980ies among other things brought a copy of the list to check on the character. We have that list.
Luke Harding:
- Kryuchkov send a character check list to his agents. For Americans they are interested in.
They should be vain, narcistic, ambitious, untrue in their marriages and seduceable by young women, bad analysts, corruptable. You look at that list and think: That is Donald Trump.

- Allready some time ago we met a man who has much to tell.
We are at a suburb of Washington DC. For the first time he is speaking with the german television.
Yuro Shvets (Former KGB agent):
- Before I came to this country i was officer of the 1st directorate of the KGB, wich is a foreign intelligence service. I worked at the department for America, overlooking and guiding the operations in the US and in Canada.
Narrator:
- Yuri Shvets was Major at the KGB. Studies together wit Vladimir Putin at the Juri Andropov-Institute of the soviet intelligence.
After the meltdown of the Soviet Union he is going to the US in 1993, reporting abound Russian money laundering in fromt of the US congress.
Accoring to Shvets, we are in a new cold war, Russia is waging against the west.
Yuro Shvets:
- And this cold war is commited via subversive operation called active measures.
It is about breaking countries from within. Most important is the corruption of western political elite.
Narrator:
- The biggest succes no one would even dared to dreamt about in Russia was based on an KGB operation of the early 1980ies, according to Shvets.
Yuro Shvets:
- Donald Trump was recruited by usage og money and psychological factors.
The psychological part was very effective in this case, because there was someone with a pretty low IQ paired with overinflated vanity and narcisism. That is a deadly combination. Thats what every intelligence officer is dreaming of, looking for potential targets for recruitment
Narrator:
- A claim that cannot be proven independently.
But in february 2025 another high ranking KGB Officer speaks up via Facebook.
Alnur Mussaye, late chief of security of Kasachstan. And he declares, that so soviet intelligence service gave Trump the codenam "Krasnov".
Everything started at the end of the 1970ies as Trump was about gain a foothold as real estate businesmen in Manhatten.
For the renovation of the run down Commodore Hotel he is looking for 200 new TV sets.
And he going to a small electronic business in midtown Manhatten
Yuro Shvets:
- It was the store run by two jewisch immigrants from the Soviet Union.
One of them who managed the store was a KGB agent. At this time i was working at the Washington Residence of the KGB and I knew it was our store.
Narrator:
- The Store made headlines in the 1980ies because it was known for most of its its customers comming from the Soviet Union.
Mostly diplomats to buy something you cant in the Soviet Union. TV sets above all.
Yuro Shvets:
- Every citicen of the Soviet Union working in the US, every visitor, highly officials, secretaries, had to go into that store. It was something like a obligation to go into that store and by your devices there to bring them to Moskow.
- The KGB was very concerned that the FBI or CIA would wire those devices and insert electronic listening devices into them. And by that way the Americans would have a high Kremlin official they could listen to at his office or at home.
Narrator:
- Because thes devices need two seperate receivers so they would also work in the Soviet Union they cost about 30% more compared to normal devices.
Yuro Shvets:
- So for Donald Trump paying 30% extra would make certainly no sense.
For the owner of the electronic store, if he was a real businessman and not been working for the KGB it wouldnt make any sense to give Donals Trump a 30% discount.
While the KGB was using this oportunity to wire those devices themselves. And they financed part of the deal. That was the initial stage of cultivation of a terget.
Narrator:
- Accordint to Shvets, the KGB agents in New York had collected information about Donald Trump, analyzing his character and weak points and at last recommended him to the headquarter in Moswow.
Under the pretence of th epossibility to build a Trump Tower at the red square the KGB acoording to shvets lure hmi to Moskow. To find out if he is useable for a cooperation.
Yuro Shvets:
- They used his vanity and his narcisim to make that silly offer. The deal, the project it was insane. The iron curtain was in place. And the reason for it was for the soviet citizens not to see how the people in the west live.
The last thing the kremlin wanted to see was a glimmering Trump Tower just next to the Tomb of Lenin at the Red Square.

- 1987 Trump travelled to Moskow and Leningrad. The tavel is organized biy the state owned travel agency "INTOURIST". As known by now an organization owned by the KGB
In the middle of the cold war, with the possibility to build a Trump Tower Trump gets lured to the Soviet Union.
After his talks Trump returns to New York and places an full page add in three major newspapers where he sharply attacks Americas treaty obligations.
- Yuri Shvets who at his time was at the KGB headquarters for several months, came across a depeche from his New York colleagues.
Yuro Shvets:
- I came across the analysis because I was invlved in a parallel operation. It was the biggest dream of the KGB.
So it was used by the department of influenceoperations as one of the biggest and most succesfull active measures over several years.

- After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia does not let go of Donald Trump.

At a visit 2015 in Moskow Scott horton as he says is shown a document. He must not name the source.

- It was an internal document in Russian, about 10-15 pages, that stated the suggestion of an influencial campaign that should be carried out in the US.
In several occasions it was related to Trump as candidate. And to the goal , to control a republican party guided by him, that would enable him to do whatever was necessary.

- Part of the influencial campaign was the infiltration of important groupings to gain political influence.
The Russian agent Marina Mutina infiltrated the mighty NRA. As she was arrested and sentenced with prison in 2018. She never had to go into prison. The Trump governmetn lets her go back to Russia. There she is celebrated as a star.
- The strategies listed in the secret dokument from Moskow to make the republikan party compliant. Went according to Scott Horton way further.

- I think we saw very quickly over time how each of these aspects of the scheme were executed. By that time the Russian orthodox church an the kremlin started to focus on a war against gay and transsexuals and so on. And I believe that this was established as a platform in Russia to rech out to the American evangelicals. They wanted to offer something to connect. The collectively hate of gays. And I believe we have seen the proofs for the whole plan beeing performed.

- After influential operations paved the way for russain friendly narratives, the actions of the Russian FSB get more and more aggressive before the 2016 elections.
James Comey (FBI director 2013-2017):
- Getting in the middle of june 2016 the Russians started to publish stolen emails of political institutions of the democratic party.
We could see that before they just collected data and switched over to an active attack on our system.

- On june 14th 2016, the US democrats announce, that they were targeted by hacking groups. 10 thousand sof documents and emails have been stolen. Including emails of the democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
- The US secret services publish before Trumps inauguration a joint report. It stated: Putin ordered his intelligence services to conduct an influencial campaign, to influence the outcome of the election.
Statement of the Report of US security services - January 06 2017:
"We assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US predidetial election. Russias goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government develop a clear preference for President-elect Trump."
"We also assess Putin and the Russian Government aspired to help Presidetn-elect Trumps election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her unvarvorable to him."

- After his election victory in november 2016 Trump is visited by the FBI director.
James Comey:
- The president at our first meeting had no questions what he could do to protect our country.

- 4 months later the FBI director at that time, James Comey, gets fired by Trump.
Shortly thereafter an unusual meeting at the white house is taking place, that does not calm suspicions.
- In the oval office Donald Trump receives the Russian foreign minister and the Russian US-ambassodor. Except the president no other American is in the room. US-media is not allowed, only one Russian media representative documenting the meeting.
- Donald trump informes his guests from the Kremlin, that he solved the problem with the nutjob Comey and that he fired the FBI director.
James Comey:
- The first running through my head was what those Russians were doing at the Oval Office, next to the President, without another United States person. That never happened before.
And then there was the news that he called me nutjob but I did not care about it since I know that I am not an nutjob. But I noticed that he is speaking about an American with our enemies. It was one of many behaviors that made me thoughtfully about how our President ist thinking and acting with respect to Russia.

- But also after the dismissal of the FBI director, the DOJ investigates further.
On july 13 2018 the DOJ declares an explosive accusation.

- The prosecution charges 12 officers of the Russian military intelligence of taking conspiratorial influence in the presidential elections 2016.

- Only 3 days later Trump and Putin meet in Helsinki for a private 4 eyes talk without wittnesses.
Something never happened before in the History of the US.
Until today no one knows what the two were talking about.
At the following press conference, to the surprise of the US investigators, Trump makes a comment about the accusations of Russian exertion of influence on the US presidential elections.
Donald Trump:
- My people came to me, telling me they thing it was Russia. But I asked the Russian president and he said it wasnt Russia and i dont see any reason why it would be.

- Donald Trump, side to side with Vladimir Putin against his own investigating departments and the allies.
The day before the meeting with Putin he names the Eurpean Union in one breath with China as an enemy in US trade issues.
Again and again during his first term he sharply attacks the western allies, makes no secret of his dislike of them.
He engages NATO allies, threatens to leave the defensive alliance nad allways advertises a close and friendly cooperation with Russia.
Nothing changed in his 2nd term. Quite the opposite. The attacks on the allies get stronger especially in Europe.
Donald Trump:
- Dont forget, the European Union was founded to take advantage on the US, thats the reason.
Scott Horton:
- I tried to explain that to some of my friends in Europe who simply do not understand.
I mean they believe that you are in some way nuts when you speak about those issues.
But for me it was never more clear, that there is a convergence of interests between the tech bos, Trump and his minions and the Kremlin.And they align perfectly, they align in a way that is extremely hostile towards Europe. Europe is seen as pray and has to endure everything what we inflict on them.
Europe is rubbing its eyes and does not understand the world anymore.
Friends become enemies, the impact hitting Europe now is created by the overlapping of interests.
David Frum:
- What Trump wants is to punish those who angered him. And he wants to Enjoy the feeling of power.
Putin wants to smash the NATO, to enhance the relative might of Russia. The might of Russia depends of the dissent of the stronger and more wealthy states, bordering Russia.
So Putin does what ha can to incite confusion and chaos, to trengthen his relative power.
- Musk interst above all is to break the regulations of the EU. If it is succesfull to stun the EU, to make it smaller or dissolve it, so that every member has to follow the example of the United States, where the tech corps are making the rules they want, then it is exactly what Musk wants.

- Blatantly Musk interferes with the political process in Germany and Europe uses his platform "X" and his prominence. He supports radical parties around the EU who aim to destroy the European post war order.
A goal he shares with Wladimir Putin.

- Germany is right in the centre beeing the axis of what is ssen as a modern and liberal democracy in Europe.
The European Unien is without Germany in its center not stable and is functioning neither political nor economically. So the game is largely about Germany
