If seashells could kill - fake GOP outrage over Comey post [1]

As a former store owner, "86"ing someone meant barring someone from an establishment. It never meant killing someone.
But, former FBI Director James Comey came across seashells in configuration of "8647," took a picture, and posted it on his Instagram account.
Instantly there was a fake furor and outrage from the right that Comey was suggesting that Trump should be killed. Better was that Trump should be banned from the beach. Comey immediately removed the post when people told him what they thought it meant.
But that wasn't good enough. The seashells were meant to kill Trump. Probably if he stepped on them while the sea creatures were still alive. Sometimes those little suckers are poisonous.
Because James Comey is on Trump's enemies list, the GOP sprang into action.
Kristie Noem took it personally.
Never give her credit for being intelligent. She's still working on getting a new tricked out private jet.
FBI Director Kash Patel said he was working with the Secret Service and would "provide all necessary support."
Tulsi Gabbard told Fox News that Comey should be put in jail for the post. "We've seen assassination attempts. I'm very concerned for his life. And James Comey, in my view, should be held accountable and put behind bars for this."
Instant pretzel maker. They couldn't be more twisted themselves about this.
Don Jr. (how who the hell does this get around so fast?) whined, "Just James Comey calling for my dad to be murdered. This is who the Dem-Media worships. Demented!!!!"
Mike Johnson screamed, "Now former disgraced FBI director James Comey either threatening to kill Donald Trump or suggesting someone should. This is outrageous as it is dangerous."
Even Trump himself added to the ridiculousness of the whole thing on Fox News with, "He knew exactly what that meant. A child knows what that meant. That meant 'assassination.'"
There's faux outrage from all sources. Nobody ever talks about times the GOP and MAGA called for Biden's death, usually by coded signage like this at a GOP booth:
This was an accident. Actually it's ridiculously innocent, and should have been ignored. MAGA just loves blowing things out of proportion because they can get away with it.
This time it was James Comey playing a shell game. Trump has 500 shell companies to play with. The GOP is constantly playing a shell game where they do one thing to get your attention and then do something else while you're not looking, like with the Medicaid cuts.
I noticed that in the reporting, nobody's talking to Democrats about this. Because they aren't outraged. All media wants is to get a storyline. And top GOP and law enforcement officials sure gave it to them.
Even more silly, is this won't be allowed to drop off the radar. It keeps focus away from what the Republicans are doing with the budget bill. It keeps people away from thinking about the 747 $400 million dollar bribe.
It just keeps people away from thinking, period.
