Who else got a US Census American Community Survey [1]

I’ve now gotten two requests for this survey, the response for which is “required by law.”
In an era of Trump, I’m very sensitive to the kidn of information be requested. They want to know ethnicity and race, even down to what kind of “white” I am. They speciifcially ask if I or anyone else in the house would be considered Latino.
The questions go on and for each family member including on home value, insurance, and even listing disabilities.
Additionally, there are no gender options other than male or female. Clearly Trump’s minions have their marching orders to stamp out other gender options.
I’m finding myself more than a little mixed on what to do here. I’ve already spent 30 minutes filling out the forms and still have 40 questions left for each of our other family members.
Has anyone else been chosen to fill out this added survey? What is your reaction? Why are they asking mid-decade?
