Are congressional Democrats constrained by staff loyalty? [1]

I don’t have the numbers on this but I’m betting that long time congressional democrats have a huge staff that don’t want to lose their jobs if their boss loses to another candidate. Especially with older Democrats, they have a staff that controls the message. Is it possible that younger representatives would be less worried about their jobs and be more concerned about their party?

It seems that many Republicans with short tenure and younger staffers are controlling the message now.

Maybe the issue is not about age of the candidate, it’s more about the seniority and pay of the staffers.
