Middle Eastern Summit Leaves Israel Out [1]

Plethora of stories out in the last few days about the Arab Summit and how Netanyahu is now viewed as an obstacle to the agenda.

It seems that our president has figured out that the Arab sheiks have all the money and Bibi has none. In fact, Israel is a big recipient of all that aid and what do we get for it now?
Development of Syria has now taken priority over development of Palestine. Turkey and Saudi Arabia want a stable prosperous Syria and our prez wants to make business deals. This goes against Israel’s desire for a divided messed up Syria at conflict with itself.
Recently, the US also negotiated the release of an American held by Hamas by directly negotiating with Hamas, bypassing Israel. The US also negotiated a cease-fire with the Houthis as long as they do not fire on commercial shipping. Nuclear talks are now scheduled with Iran rather than missile strikes. Meanwhile, Houthi missiles still strike Israel.
Does this aid Palestinians? No. They have the least to offer and few advocates. It’s almost as if all Bibi wants to do is bomb the Palestinians to extinction so he can remain domestically popular and if you just let him do that, you can otherwise ignore him.
I am not sure how this all effects the Palestinian or Israeli constituencies and all the hullabaloo about who voted for whom after the last election and why, but it does seem unexpected by Netanyahu. Including the new media slant on everything. Before it was “Right of Retribution Against Terrorists” but now it’s “Forever Wars with Unachievable Goals”.
