Trump is Letting Millions of Africans Die So He Can Play Dictator at Home [1]

In Uganda, a clinic serving 30,000 people lost all international support. In Zimbabwe, an emergency hotline for abused women was shut down. In Nigeria, life-saving HIV programs are collapsing as U.S.-funded health workers disappear. Across sub-Saharan Africa, the human toll is mounting. Tens of thousands of doctors and nurses are losing support. Millions of patients are being abandoned.
This isn’t policy. It isn’t budgeting.
It is political sadism.
Trump does not care. He does not care that Africa bears the world’s highest burden of HIV. He does not care that these programs cost less than half a penny of each federal dollar. He does not care that mothers, children, and entire communities are facing preventable death. He wants to punish. To dominate. To shred America’s global leadership and replace it with a nationalism built on cruelty and neglect.
This is not “America First.”
This is America as the problem.
The United States made a promise. We said we would lead. We said we would show up. We said we would stand for dignity, for public health, and for peace. Trump is burning that promise for applause.
We cannot let him do it.
Call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and demand that your members of Congress reauthorize PEPFAR and restore global aid.
We are in a fight for lives and for American leadership.
For the first time in 20 years, Congress failed to reauthorize PEPFAR, the landmark HIV/AIDS program that has saved over 26 million lives. The United Nations warns that up to 6 million more could die in the next four years if we do not act.
That is why Alliance for American Leadership is mobilizing thousands to fight back. We have already brought advocates from 31 states to pressure Congress directly, including senior campaign strategists from the Harris Presidential Campaign. But this work needs fuel.
We are 100 percent volunteer-run. Every dollar goes toward registering new voters, funding digital outreach, and electing pro-aid Democrats who will lead with integrity and save lives.
