Zelenskyy talks to Pope Leo about a ceasefire and Russian deported Ukrainian children [1]

It didn't take long for Zelenskyy to call the Pope or the other way around.

We've got the readout from Zelenskyy.

They discussed the thousands of Ukrainian children deported to Russia. The International Criminal Court has already put out a warrant for Putin for genocide on this crime.

Zelenskyy made an offer for the Pope to come visit. It would be a real boost in morale for Ukrainians.

A cease-fire starts today for 30 days. Putin has already broken cease-fires before, such as the Easter weekend. There is always the possibility it will hold while direct negotiations between Ukraine and Russia take place.

Once again, it's up to Putin.
