Why fire the Librarian of Congress?

The foolishness given by Trump’s spokeswoman was that there was “too much DEI and that children were exposed to inappropriate material.”

Such a pile of stupid and wrong information has rarely been seen.

First the Library of Congress (LOC) is Congress’ library; it is not a public library. If you are under 16 years of age, you cannot go into the stacks. LOC is a research library; the public cannot check out materials and remove them from the library.

So why was she fired? Do you think it had something to do with her gender and her race?
