Democrats should embrace MAGA for the mid-terms [1]

I fully expect that by the middle of next year, Trump’s implementation of Project 2025 will have started to touch the lives of every single American in a really bad way. My wife’s Hispanic family are already not leaving home without a passport. WTF??!!!
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated...
There goes that one. Which brings me to the power of symbolism in propaganda. The entire point of this diary is to explain how Democrats can neutralize the MAGA movement with one simple move: Embrace it!
Remember when Biden embraced Dark Brandon and suddenly the whole “Let’s Go Brandon” narrative stopped being used? Well, it is time to put out there in BOLD CAPITALS the destruction that Trump is causing to the US’s international reputation, economy, democracy and just plain common decency.
The messaging should be that Trump has destroyed America and now Democrats need to Make America Great Again. Democrats should plan to sell MAGA hats (in red still), but made in the USA. These hats should be heavily advertised, with strong Democrat symbolism and endorsement, all over the internet, print, and TV.
When suddenly red MAGA hats starts being a Democrat symbol, MAGA heads will “explode”. It is literally “cultural appropriation”, in a good trouble way. They’ll not know what to do with their hats, flags, and other merchandize. They’ll stop wearing their red hats in public for fear of being called a Democrat. They also won’t know if the person they are chatting to in the street is a Democrat or a Trumpist. Their cult symbol becomes ineffective. They may even feel a sense of isolation.
In addition, on social media, everyone should just jump on the MAGA bandwagon. Whenever somebody from the red team posts “MAGA”, it should be countered with “Yes, we need Democrats to MAGA — totally agree! MAGA, MAGA, MAGA!”
Because when everyone is on the MAGA bandwagon, nobody really is...
