Over the past 48 hours, Vice-President Vance and I have engaged with senior Indian and Pakistani officials, including Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Shehbaz Sharif, External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, and National Security Advisors Ajit Doval and Asim Malik

Lie, lies and more damned lies by the lying trump regime.

Additional News

www.ndtv.com/... reports that

The ceasefire with Pakistan is a conditional one and there is no change in India's position on the diplomatic measures against the neighbouring country, including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, sources have said. The move to negotiate a ceasefire, the sources emphasised, was initiated by Pakistan and pointed to a statement by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who underscored that India has an uncompromising stance against terrorism, which will not change.

www.hindustantimes.com/...reports that blackout orders and restrictions have been lifted in Punjab.

Epilogue

But we are happy that the two countries decided to do the right thing. The road ahead is still a challenging one — to come up with a lasting solution, one that relies upon cooperation, mutual benefit and working to improve the lives of people in the two countries (e.g., education, healthcare, jobs, not bombs).
