Since retiring, and starting to post here, I’ve fallen into a little tradition I’d like to share.
I write parody songs here, yes. But I also write BIRTHDAY PARODY SONGS for some people near and dear to me. The poor things get a call from me on The Day, whereupon they are regaled in song.
Now obviously I won’t share anything with personally identifying content, uh uh nope nope, privacy above all. But I have produced one or two of them that I’m rather pleased with, that they’ve been utterly delighted with, and that don’t point to any means of identifying either them or me.
So without further ado let me share the one I’m currently proudest of… with their permission, of course, obtained in advance of posting this.
