The NPR (however much longer THEY last) story mentions that the DOGEbros, aided by the Dept. of Agriculture, are demanding all the Food Stamp recipients’ data from all the States so they can create a list of likely deportees. Anyone want to bet that this is merged with the other data that has already been skimmed elsewhere?
DAMMIT, “1984” was supposed to be a frickin novel not a “How To” book! Big Brother is still in the construction stage though. It’s not too late quite yet. Congress might be interested — if there were some extra spines lying around.
One thing you can bet on is that the rich and big Corporations are ALSO wondering who is pawing thru all THEIR info. Elon could squeeze some great biz advantage out of his competitors and possible acquisitions’ data.
