SDNY Charges Repeat Offender with Federal hate crimes Against Jews [1]

“Allegedly” but really he’s on video so I hope he gets severe consecutive sentences.
It appears the DOJ’s Civil Rights division is not dead after all, at least in NY. A serial attacker, who has been arrested at least three times for assaulting visibly religious Jews in NYC with state cases pending is now facing Federal hate crime charges for his repeated bias-motivated attacks.
A search warrant of his phone revealed a litany of support for Hamas and Hezbollah, both designated foreign terrorist organizations.
Unfortunately he was granted pre-trial release repeatedly despite his ongoing danger to the public. Hopefully he is now going to be denied bail.

Tarek Bazrouk, 20, is facing three counts of committing hate crimes for allegedly targeting and assaulting Jewish people at three NYC protests related to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. Bazrouk was arrested after all three instances, but "remained undeterred and quickly returned to using violence to target Jews in New York City," according to U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton for the Southern District of New York.
