Trump wants to take credit for winning World War I and World War II [1]

Donald is taking some time off from being intelligent. He has warmed up his historian chops and trying to play Commander-in-Chief when it really is Commandeered-all-the-Grief.
He thinks he can tell all the Veterans that they no longer mean anything. Not once in this post does he mention Veterans Day, like he did the first time.
"We won two World Wars, but we never took credit for it. Everyone else does!"
If everyone took credit, then they would all be saying that they were the ones that won the war. In a sense that's true, that's why they were called allies, we all joined in together. But you start off saying "We won" like no one else took part.
"The only Country that doesn't celebrate is the United States of America, and the Victory was only accomplished because of us."
That's a lie. May 8th is VE Day. Victory in Europe. World War II. It doesn't need a new name. He got away with renaming Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America. Marjorie Taylor Greene has introduced a bill to codify the Gulf of America for Donald Trump. Now he's on a roll. He figures that nobody will stop him now.
"Without the United States, the War would have been won by other Countries, and what a different World it would be."
Seeing as how he didn't specify which "countries" he meant, I'm going to assume the Allies. He could have meant the Axis powers, but I'm not going to give him credit, because hasn't mentioned the Allies and the Axis powers once. If the United States had not participated in World War II, most likely Nazi Germany would have taken over Europe, and possibly the world. World War I, we were late in coming. Even later than we were for World War II. When you're late for the party, you don't take credit for the party.
Once again he's calling November 11th, Veterans Day, as who knows what. He says Victories for World War I. In World War II, he says the Victory date was May 8th, 1945. Trump completely forgets the Japanese. That's August 15th, 1945. VJ Day. He can't even get the actual end of the war right. He says he's declaring national holidays, but doesn't even give the actual name of them this time.
"We will not be closing the Country for these very important Holidays... because we already have too many holidays in America."
Actually, November 11th, Veterans day, is a federal holiday so people do get the day off. May 8th, VE Day, is not a federal holiday. But we are closing the country on Veterans Day.
We have too many holidays. I can't believe he said that. I hope everyone in the world forgets his birthday and ignores him. Unfortunately, it's also the 250th anniversary of the United States Army.
"There aren't enough days in the year."
Well, to get more days, you would have to change the rotational tilt of the Earth so seasons took longer. Then you could have more days.
"We were Workers then, and we are Workers now!"
WTF?!? What in the world is he talking about? What does this have to do with holidays, veterans, or wars? You've probably wiped out the whole DEI thing about Rosie the Riveter in World War II. They built the airplanes and tanks and jeeps, while the men were occupied trying to save the world.
Then he says something that just has me bristling.
"Documentation to follow."
What does he possibly mean by that? That could only mean proclamations. He has one little problem, Congress is the one in charge of federal holidays. Trump can't just declare anything.
Maybe this is just one of his subterfuges to take over the news because everybody's aghast by the fact that he doesn't understand that he has to follow the Constitution, which he has said 2 days in a row.
Trump, the historian, doesn't understand either World War. And the Second World War, he does not even understand when it ended. Par for the course, because that's all he knows is golf, and he cheats at that.
The evidence of mental problems for Trump are piling up on a daily basis. The entire country needs to do an intervention. We need to jump all over Trump's cabinet to tell him that he is gone completely bonkers and is no longer capable of performing the duties of president of the United States.
Join me in screaming at the top of your lungs, or just chant quietly as a mantra, "He has to go. He has to go. He has to go..."
