Families are being torn apart in our name. It's time to choose humanity.
They told us they were cracking down on immigration.
They didn’t tell us it would look like children screaming as their parents are taken.
They didn’t tell us it would mean mothers dying behind bars after being denied care.
They didn’t tell us it would mean locking people in cages and calling it “justice.”
But we’re watching now. And we’re saying Not One More.
Across the country — from Florida to Tennessee — families are being separated without due process. Loved ones are being detained in secretive facilities, denied access to lawyers, denied basic medical care, and in some cases, denied the dignity of life itself.
We recently gathered in front of the Broward Transitional Center in Florida to honor Marie Ange Blaise, a Haitian immigrant who died crying out for help. Her pleas were ignored until it was too late. Her death isn’t an isolated incident. It’s part of a larger system that is failing — a system that prioritizes punishment over compassion, and bureaucracy over basic decency.
And now it’s happening in Tennessee.
Let’s be clear: we can protect our borders without destroying families. We can uphold our laws without violating human rights. We are better than this — or at least, we can be.
But we won’t get there by hoping for change. We have to organize for it.
That’s why I’m raising money for our people powered PAC, Together We Will PAC. We are determined to strengthen our movement to fight back. We’re building power at the local level, exposing abuses, organizing families, and electing leaders who will treat immigrants with dignity.
We need resources for legal clinics.
We need to amplify the stories the media won’t cover.
We need tools to organize voters who care.
And we need to act now.
Not one more death. Not one more family torn apart. Not in our name.
