Photo Diary: Aircraft at the USS Midway Museum [1]

The museum ship USS Midway has a number of helicopters and fixed-wing airplanes on display, representing the time periods from WW2 through Korea and Vietnam up to the end of the Cold War.
Some photos from a visit.
The Midway museum displays three aircraft that the ship never actually carried, but which were part of the significant 1942 naval battle for which she was named.

The rest of the planes on exhibit were WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War and Cold War planes that were operated from the carrier.
