Australia rebukes Conservative policies in federal election, progressive majority grows [1]

There is much better coverage than anything I can write, but great to see the result and wanted to make sure the good news was on DK!!

The conservative coalition (between the confusingly named Liberal and National parties) had many culture war issues blow up, and the Labor party’s middle finger to Trump (e.g. lowering pharmaceutical prices in response to Trump’s threats) have IMO contributed to the result which seems to be improving every time I refresh. The leader of the opposition has even unexpectedly lost his own seat!
