If there’s one thing I hate is mind games and unfortunately, it’s a game that lots of grown adults enjoy in any kind of context.
Why? What do you (those that play mind games – and yes I have to do these silly parentheses here so that someone won’t deliberately take my words out of context and play mind games with them). So why? What satisfaction does one get from this pretense of not understanding words, context, nuance and language just for a few clicks?
Someone told me to ignore the negative comments. NO. If I were walking down a street and 100 people greeted me nicely but the 101 called me the N word or slapped me should I ignore that too? There are no mute or block button on this platform to ignore those comments so I have to read them and I refuse to be a target.
Yes, I get that I am new and apparently not many speak out against the slights they receive here, but that’s not how I’m build. I fight back as I can, for one also cannot “flag” an insults to oneself and even others who participate in the discussion cannot do so but have to wait for a passerby to report the offense. Or worse have to ask to speak to the manager “help desk” to get an issue resolved.
Some of these people insult you and when you reply, they have the audacity to flag your reply and this passes for what around here?
Others insult you and then slide into your inbox like little boys pulling braids. I’m not here looking for men or romantic relationships of any kind and even when I was it wouldn’t be with such immature people.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in this life is that you don’t resolve a problem by ignoring it or dealing with it in the dark especially on a forum. Because the offenders just repeat the behavior with the next victim and are never held to account. Which is apparently what’s going on here.

I can’t out people on here but I sure can post their own words (as I was rebuked once for not providing proof) and admission of guilt here even as they afterwards returned to flag my reply to them!
I will not be silent. I will not “let things slide”.
