When Russia bombed Kyiv with Shaheds, they used cluster munitions with timed bomblets with a delay before exploding.

x ❗️Delayed (timed) cluster munitions from "Shaheds" exploded in Kyiv. ⚠️ Russian drones now could have left behind munitions that do not explode immediately.

And when they bombed Kharkiv, they used nails as shrapnel to create more civilian injuries.

x Russians attached a bag with nails to a Molniya-type drone Russia used during the attack on Kharkiv, the National Police of Ukraine said. The photo shows the bag itself. The police said that this way, the Russian army is trying to inflict maximum damage on the civilian population. 📹: Suspilne

Who could have predicted at the start of this war that a Drone Zone would be a thing?

Kyiv is implementing a “Drone Line” strategy, which involves creating a security zone 30 km deep behind the front line. Populating this space with drones will make it impossible for the Russians to prepare new assaults. The goal is to block large sections of the front and hold out without help.

Wait! Do you mean to say that Putin lied to Trump????

Say it ain’t so, Vlad!

x Trump has been convinced that Putin is deceiving him. UK PM Starmer and France’s Macron spent months urging Trump to stop pressuring Zelensky and focus on Kremlin actions, warning that Putin is manipulating him. www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/202...

Graham talks big again. Talk is cheap.

x ⚡️ Republican Graham claims 72 senators back 'bone-crushing' sanctions on Russia. The bill would impose new penalties on Russia and slap 500% tariffs on imports from countries that buy Russian oil, petroleum products, natural gas, or uranium.

Another 1,100 Russians but only one tank.

Bavovna.

x Ukrainian Defenders destroyed a Russian Buk-M3 air defense system. Epic detonation included in the video! Buk-M3 is one of Russia's key air defense systems. Its cost is about $45 million.

Glory!

You cannot escape. The drone will find you.

A Russian soldier is beating up one of his comrades, kicking him while he’s lying on the ground. Then he gets what’s coming to him.

WARNING: The audio is extremely annoying.

x Russian soldier was very busy beating up his comrade and was so carried away by the process that he did not notice how he himself became a target for the drone.

A Scooby van burns in Belgorod.

Longtime activist and YouTuber Serhiy Sternenko has quite a colorful history.

This was at least the third assassination attempt on him. He said later that he received a bullet wound in this one but it wasn’t serious.

A Russian soldier walks among the bodies of his dead comrades, complaining that they “stink like hell.”

x And while Putin keeps boasting about how well the "special military operation" is going, Russian soldiers continue filming videos from their positions — littered with the bodies of their own comrades, left behind and uncollected. Everything’s going according to plan.

And here’s another video made by a Russian complaining that everything around him was blown up and they were left “with fucking nothing. Homeless.”

You have a home. It’s in Russia. Go back there and stay.

x “They blew everything up! We’re left with nothing!” — a Russian soldier reports after a successful strike on their position, which has been reduced to ashes.

So, Mike Waltz gave up his House seat for a couple of months as national security advisor. And now Trump is nominating him to be UN Ambassador, which is like getting those nice parting gifts when you lose on a game show.

I hope it was worth it. Waltz goes under the bus after less than 10 scaramuccis.

There are some reports that say that ass-kissing idiot Steve Witkoff might replace him. For now Rubio is supposedly the acting NSA.

x CBS reports NSA Mike Waltz & NSC's Alex Wong are leaving. This is bad news for European allies—many have been concerned that Waltz's firing would expand influence of MAGA types. The loss of Wong, who was subject to racist conspiracy theories by Laura Loomer, will also concern China hawks. — Shashank Joshi (@shashj.bsky.social) May 1, 2025 at 9:55 AM

Trump has also appointed a new charge d’affaires in Ukraine.

x 🇺🇸🇺🇦 Trump and Rubio have appointed Ambassador Julie Davis as the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires ad interim to Ukraine "at this critical moment in the journey toward peace." Ambassador Davis has held key positions for the past 30 years, a State Department spokeswoman said.

A couple of good signs.

x ‘The Trump administration formally notified Congress on April 29 that it is preparing to authorize the sale of "$50 million or more" in "defense articles" to Ukraine. This marks the first such move under the current U.S. government.’ kyivindependent.com/trump-admini...

The church in Russia doesn’t want smart children — or what it calls indigo children.

x The latest from the Russian Orthodox Church: Gifted ‘indigo’ children are possessed by evil spirits. 🫣 Clearly, Russia doesn’t need brilliant minds, as it’s easier to control a “gray” populace unable to think independently.

If only this real estate agent’s client had produced a son that she could “sell” to the Russian Army as cannon fodder.

x Russian war economy has “no negative effect” on its citizens except for people who chose not to produce cannon fodder. 😏 “So you have a good down payment and a good salary, you are not poor, but you are still homeless.” - A Russian realtor explains the situation her childless clients are in.

Dogs know what the air raid siren means.

x War can be just as traumatic for animals, who often learn to associate one sound with another very quickly.

He still has the moves.
