Only 18 months until the next national election.
Before then, Bernie is not going to fart a magic unicorn into existence that brings about The Revolution. Nor will the Schumers of the world suddenly get a grip.
Still, in 18 months, there will be Democrats on the ballot to vote for, and for every one that wins is a fascist that loses. I don’t need to remind you about the need for a majority in at least one chamber of Congress.
Plan accordingly. Act accordingly. That may look different depending on where you are and who you are, and that’s OK.
But bitching, pissing, moaning, and whining about “the establishment” or how “the Democrats are losing” is NOT HELPFUL. It’s not motivating, it’s not constructive, and I doubt it’s even cathartic. So, y’know, DON’T.
You need to take your anger and frustration out on someone? Take your pick of deserving fascists.
And when it comes to our side, BE SMART. You already know the stakes. You don't need to be a cheerleader for every single one of the folks that don’t inspire you. But you really don’t need to bash them, and you BETTER not be dumping on Democrats generally.
18 months is NOTHING. The time to start preparing is NOW. Make sure all your energy is focused on winning the election. Otherwise, who are you really helping?
