Buckle up loves, this is probably gonna be a long one. Cause honestly, I’m fed up, I’m past frustrated, past infuriated, right now I’m just totally fed up and disgusted. If it doesn’t apply to you, let it fly pass you!

This is a general rant for all my social platforms (mostly twitter)! If you feel this is addressed to you because I use the word you, then guess what? It is! Otherwise, you wouldn’t feel it’s about you. Got it? Good. So, the back button is somewhere up there, use that if you don’t feel like reading this, cause I ain’t pulling my punches, and as I am already a blunt person you can guess what that means. This is your last chance to escape.

Yesterday as I watched Cory Booker and Hakeem Jeffries sitting on the steps of the Capitol having meaningful dialogues with people, but of course y’all had to try to ruin the experience for the rest of us, because the sight of two Black men, doing something original stuck in your crows. The usual chorus of “do something” “I don’t feel you” etc… rose up from your throats with the usual bile. I’ve had more than my fill of this garbage. As I told one whiner, if it had been AOC and Bernie on those steps y’all would have been cheering and calling it a brilliant move. And no this ain’t a jab at AOC or Bernie, it’s a jab at you.

This BS has been going on for ages, the demands and backlash against Black elected officials, are always queued up. It seems like a Black official simply can’t do anything right when it comes to a section of the democratic voters right? Who were the free Palestine crowds protesting? Black democrats. By the way y’all kinda quiet now aren’t you? I remember those of you who were advocating for others to martyr themselves for the cause, who knew a couple of arrests was all it took to send you scurrying back home… or was it that the goal of tanking the Black woman was achieved? Where’s the pile of bullshit moral high ground you were standing on? And again this has nothing to do with Palestinians and their plight, it’s another dig at YOU.

Back on topic: Who is being told to do something else when they do something? Black democrats, I mean brothers and sisters could be on screen talking themselves dry (as Booker did) and y’all still be saying “do something, do something, why aren’t you doing anything to save us!”. Get a chair and sit your asses down. When you combine the accomplishments of white elected democrats since the beginning of this nation and those of Black democrats by the numbers and the years, when you’ve done that you come back and tell me who is doing more for your white ass.

Who is told “this isn’t the right time for this” Black democrats. That fits, cause apparently we live in timeline where it’s never the right time for Black folks to speak up or do anything but say yes sir. And yet it’s our voices that have given most of you the comforts and privileges you now hold on to for dear life.

But let one white elected dem, do a rally or a speech or whatever and you’re all cheering and clapping as if it were the voice of God himself. That speech will garner 10 million views before you have time to blink those false innocent eyes of yours. Let’s make them president! Why don’t we! Ohh did you hear what they said? So profound, so true! Yeah, I heard, it was the same thing VP Harris was saying… yet you didn’t make her president didya? Want an example? Pritzker’s speech is all over my feeds on every social platform and media outlet… Booker & Jeffries? A couple of outlets talked about it, mostly Black media.

It is disgusting. Yeap, I said it disgusting. You don’t ever check yourselves. To this day I hear, democrat and independent voters spewing right wing talking points without shame or self-reflection “you didn’t give us something to vote for” really? What frequency were you tuned into? 95.1 AM white? How is it that Black folks heard all her policies and you heard none as we listened to the same fucking speeches?

Y’all want something to vote for, look at your health care, social security, streets, hospitals, your bills, your rent… look at your lives and vote to better them you nitwits. Stop looking across the street or over your fence at what your neighbors are doing or how they are living, keep your noses into your business and you might achieve some measure of content instead of feeding your jealous egos all the time.

I’ve even heard some of you say we should be more like the republicans, do you ever sit and listen to the stuff that comes out of your mouths? If you want to be like republicans, be a republican and leave us the ef alone, you’re almost there anyhow, only thing holding you back is “what will people say” no worries just look up your own words and you will know.

While the ground is shifting beneath your feet due to your own biases, you seem to want to make Black Folks your scapegoats, not this time. You want someone to blame, look to yourselves. You have this country so separated in your minds, you forgot you were living in the same country as Black folks under the same effing laws.

The ugly truth is you have no qualms berating Black democrats because you still view them as your servants, your help, while white democrats are your peers, your family you talk to them with respect, you listen when they speak, you offer no such respect to Black folks. No, for them you reserve your anger, ire and grievances.

Do you know what it’s like to see white folks throw their lives (and ours) again because they are too busy watching what everyone else is getting to enjoy their own damn lives? Year after year after year! You are so focused on denying folks rights and things that you don’t even understand you are also denying yourselves! We are all on the same goddamn road and your out here strewing nails to explode tires. And, then… you are shocked when your tire explodes… YOU planted the nails you nincompoop.

So while y’all yelling at maga for being racists, bigots, sexists, y’all might want to check your mirrors and try to spot the missing differences.
