x Trump should do that too with all the merch he peddles. Show which of it is made in the USA.

It figures.

Meanwhile, in the Great White North:
Oh, wait.
x Anyone Trump-aligned or Trump-adjacent is toxic to the rest of the world. We are the only country with enough people that think the malignant narcissist, criminal, and moronic two-bit con man should be in charge. It’s the same reason why televangelists have always thrived here.

x 3 months ago, there was no possible way the conservatives were going to lose this election. They were so far ahead in the polls. Then Donald Trump started talking about Canada.

x “The Liberals in Canada were losing big until our president kept mocking Canadians, our neighbors and close friends. He made Canadian Liberals great again." -- Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) First time I've agreed with him on anything. — Charlotte Clymer (@charlotteclymer.bsky.social) April 29, 2025 at 4:24 AM
x Our neighbor to the North is lead by a brilliant economist, who is tough, but fair and decent. Our neighbor to the South is lead by a brilliant engineer, who is tough, but fair and decent. We are run by a total ignoramus who is flawed in every way a human being can be & is destroying our country. — Pam Keith (@pamkeithdc.bsky.social) April 29, 2025 at 5:16 AM

Ouch!
Typical FIDJT. Announce "victory" and move on.
Nailed it!
x We have hundreds of trade deals the way we have hundreds of miles of his Border Wall with Mexico.

Exactly Right!
What the everloving fork?
x Looks like ICE is using the New England Patriot’s plane - which is available for charter in the off-season - to carry out their assholery.

This is absolutely terrifying. Which is why I'm highlighting it, so you can share it far and wide.
x Please highlight this story. ICE stormed into the wrong house, trashed the place, and made women/girls stand outside in the rain in their underwear. ICE also stole phones, laptops, and cash savings from the family, who moved to OKC two weeks ago. kfor.com/news/local/w...

'We’re citizens!’: Oklahoma City family traumatized after ICE raids home, but they weren’t suspects. kfor.com/…
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A woman says her family’s fresh start in Oklahoma turned into a nightmare after federal immigration agents raided their home, taking their phones, laptops, and life savings – even though they were not the suspects the agents were looking for. The agents had a search warrant for the home, but the suspects listed on the warrant do not live in the house. The woman who actually lives in the house had just moved to Oklahoma City from Maryland with her family about two weeks earlier. The woman, who News 4 will refer to as “Marisa”, and her three daughters came to Oklahoma looking for a slower, more affordable pace of life. They rented a house in a seemingly safe northwest Oklahoma City neighborhood. Her husband stayed back in Maryland a couple of extra weeks, planning to join them this weekend.
“I was like, ‘okay, Oklahoma’s my home now,’” Marisa said.
But any comfort they had disappeared Thursday morning when about 20 men, armed with guns, busted through the door.
Please read the rest.

Coming for the Judges. The Department of Justice targeted a judge in Milwaukee, but its case is already a shambolic embarrassment. statuskuo.substack.com/…
On Friday, federal agents arrested Judge Hannah Dugan of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court. I have waited to comment substantively on the arrest because I wanted to read the complaint and understand the charges, with special attention to the key factual allegations. Having now reviewed the allegations, as well as witnessed the politicization of this arrest by the Trump DOJ since her arrest, I now feel confident in saying this whole thing is a disgraceful charade. By way of quick background, Judge Dugan is charged with obstructing a government proceeding and concealing a person to prevent arrest. These very serious charges carry maximum penalties of five and one year in prison respectively. Her arrest relates to efforts by authorities to detain a migrant named Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, whom federal authorities claim illegally reentered the country. Flores-Ruiz, along with his attorney, was in Judge Dugan’s courtroom on a misdemeanor assault charge at the time everything went down. I want to note three things about this case as it moves forward.
Read the rest, its good.

Massive Coalition of Unions, Non-Profit Groups, and Local Governments File Omnibus Challenge to Unconstitutional Reorganization of Federal Government. statedemocracydefenders.org/…
WASHINGTON – A coalition that includes nationwide labor organizations, vital non-profit groups, and local cities and counties in California, Illinois, Maryland, Texas, and Washington all united today to challenge the Trump administration’s unlawful reorganization of the federal government underway without legislative authority. The coalition is represented by Democracy Forward, Altshuler Berzon LLP, Protect Democracy, the Public Rights Project, and State Democracy Defenders Fund. ✂️ Since taking office, Donald Trump has attempted to usurp the powers of Congress through his attacks on the federal government and its basic functions, which hundreds of millions of Americans rely on every day,” said Norm Eisen, executive chair of State Democracy Defenders Fund. “The separation of powers was created by our nation’s Framers to prevent this very sort of unchecked power. The American people will not stand for these clearly illegal and unconstitutional efforts by this administration, which seek to upend the most basic tenets of our nation’s constitutional democracy.” Statements from more of the plaintiffs and counsel in the case are HERE. This is the largest and most significant challenge to Trump’s authority to remake the government without Congressional approval. The case seeks a court’s intervention to stop the implementation of the President’s unlawful Executive Order 14210 (Implementing the President’s ‘‘Department of Government Efficiency” Workforce Optimization Initiative), which violates the Constitution’s fundamental separation of powers principles. Federal agencies were required to submit for approval Agency Reductions in Force and Reorganization Plans on April 14. Although the President’s Executive Order seeks to radically reorganize and deconstruct federal agencies through massive reductions in force, the groups make clear in the filing that only Congress has the power to change the federal government in the ways the President has directed.

x The Plan: Impeach Trump after the midterms, 2 years into his term and the struggle to hang on to the country we hope we really are. If Republicans resist, a Democrat-led impeachment proceeding would at the very least be a watershed moment—an essential reckoning: www.thebulwark.com/p/trump-is-m...

From the article. Trump Is More Likely to Get a Third Impeachment Than a Third Term. www.thebulwark.com/…
WHEN PRESIDENT RICHARD NIXON DEPLOYED the IRS and the FBI to investigate his enemies, the House Judiciary Committee—on a bipartisan vote—deemed it an impeachable abuse of power. So how about Donald Trump siccing the Department of Justice on Act Blue, the Democratic fundraising juggernaut? Hmmm. To mark Trump’s first (worst?) hundred days, I thought it might be fun to look at all the impeachment articles against presidents and figure out how many Trump has already matched or surpassed. Spoiler: It has not been fun. And the answer is pretty much all of them—from Andrew Johnson in 1868 to the charges in Trump’s own pair of impeachments a few short years ago. How do we know? Because it’s all unfolding publicly and blatantly in real time.
The whole thing is worth a read.
