Gov.Pritzker (D-IL) vs. Schumer [1]

This weakened, JB headed east to give a talk. He recited some recent events, he decried that lawlessness infecting the administration and its mini-stirrers of injustice, and he said we need to rise up and protest, protect the innocent and stop the crap that is going on daily. He made a strong statement for our rights, and against trump.

"Remember, Trump, just last week, arrested and deported three children under eight years old. U.S. citizens, all of them," Pritzker said during a speech at the McIntyre-Shaheen 100 Club Dinner, a major fundraiser for the state Democratic Party, reports Politco. "Preserving habeas corpus is not some fever dream of the left wing echo chamber. It's a fundamental concept of justice that people have fought and died for dating back to the Middle Ages."

Calling for protests and action, in the face of Trump egging on his Mindless MAGA Morons to attack our brothers and sisters, well, Mr. Governor, I agree. You are correct. That is the right thing to do. One downside? MAGAs may organize (WAIT! I was not being funny!) and come with loaded guns, not concealed. OK, the dea of MAGA “organizing something seems ludicrous, but so did a second term for Duh FurHair.

Now for the rest of the story.

Schumer is more useless than a third tit on boar. Not that the other two have a lot to do. If he is so oblivious to both the reel and real world, why does he bother showing up in DC? Habit? Perhaps he is way, way, way too old to learn from the pros.

His buddy Mitch showed just how to obstruct while in the minority for years. How to control the dialog. How to get the media involved without them knowing they were being played. How to sway the political system and how to put up blocks of road in the path of his opposition. Mitch gave America master classes and throughout, “ChuckieCheeseSpine” Schumer was AWOL , or asleep like his friend Don.

Perhaps he is waiting for some written response from Teh Don, or better yet, an answer to his request for the finer points of how to debate hot topics, from Douglas and/or Lincoln, both of whom he felt were good friends.

I admit he has a soft spot for labor, in particular, for labor unions. The Amalgamated Lamplighters’ Local in NY, once made him an honorary member, circa 1886 A.D., with his own ladder, a plaque and a certificate! That was more than a century, earlier! before them new fangled, Edison lighting devices that need them pesky, ugly, wire thingies.

Of course, can we forget the time in 1910, when Schumer witnessed British coal minors going on strike for an 8 hour work day? And he returned to the Colonies and warned against anything similar taking place in the US? “NO, we need coal and we need to keep our workers busy! I am against any national strike. In fact, I will pen a strong letter against it!”

Or his reaction, in 1935, when some Earhart broad pretended to fly from Honolulu to Oakland California nonstop? Schumer reportedly snorted,

“This is madness. We know only men can operate complex machines like aeroplanes! I will write a strongly worded letter in favor of laws banning women pilots. They should operate typewriters only!”

Let’s look fondly at 1962, when Schumer forcefully agreed that music made on guitars was already a passing fad. “Any group that tries to play music with 3 guitars will fail. And I am in the middle of writing a strongly worded letter to Decca Records, thanking them from hiring those Roaches, or what ever bug they called themselves.”

Mr. Schumer, do the right thing and retire.
