The Atlantic editor [Jeffrey Goldberg] asked, after Trump and his administration had dismissed the outlet’s “many fictional stories,” why the president had described their story about Signalgate as “somewhat more successful.” “Are you saying that Signalgate was real?” asked Goldberg.“Yeah, it was real,” Trump said. That gives a real insight in the shallowness of the fake leader: Signalgate story was “successful” because — wait for it — ‘It won the news-cycle’.
Really shows what make the troubled-man tick, now doesn’t it. And here another stark give-away to the guy’s internal value system:

And if those disclosures weren’t disturbing enough — this is one that really should get a ‘news-cycle’ of its own. When asked about the main differences between his first presidency and this one, well just get a load of this answer:

Yikes! That’s a very troubling insight about the aspiring Authoritarian — that could launch a thousand Poli-Sci dissertations.
