Bug Brain Simple: There is no plan [1]

We spend a great deal of time trying to decipher the plan. Is Trump going to declare martial law? Is he bankrupting Social Security so he can shut the system down? Is he crashing the economy on purpose? We need to quit wasting time on this speculation and accept that there is no plan. Trump is a narcissist who happens to be quite talented as a salesman/con artist. He believes in nothing other than himself. On any given day, he does whatever gives his ego the biggest boost. But the fact that he doesn’t have a plan doesn’t mean that he isn’t dangerous. He will do a great deal of damage as he makes random decisions in areas about which he knows nothing, as he throws red meat to his deplorable supporters, and as he empowers unsavory people who have their own plans. We need to spend our time working to mitigate the worst of his random evils rather than wasting time trying to discern some nonexistent grand plan.
