Active duty military caught in huge immigration raid at makeshift night club in Colorado Springs [1]

Let’s start with the latest news first. I just read this tonight:
Federal officials took to multiple social media accounts Sunday and Monday, boasting that more than 100 people had been turned over to immigration officials and were inside a party at the facility using drugs and committing sex acts. They furnished no proof of any of those allegations on Monday. Authorities did not announce how much, if any, narcotics were seized. But the seemingly small haul didn’t deter some of the nation’s highest-ranking law enforcement officials from going online to tout the effort. www.cpr.org/...
It was big news early this morning across Southern Colorado and in Colorado Springs, the southwestern capital of immigrant criminal activity./s The news, almost identical from every MSM source, NYT, Denver Post, CNN, all the local rags, broke early in the am of Monday April 28th.
More than 100 undocumented immigrants were detained by federal agents in Colorado Springs early Sunday morning during a raid of an illegal, underground nightclub, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration. Between 200 and 300 people were inside the club, and 114 of them were living in Colorado illegally, said Steffan Tubbs, a spokesman for the DEA’s Rocky Mountain Division. More than a dozen active duty military members were also inside the club as patrons or security guards, he said. www.denverpost.com/...
The article(s) go on to tell that the raid had been “planned” for months, and started at about 3:45 am Sunday. The DEA’s Rocky Mountain Division posted video on social media showing federal agents announcing their presence and ordering people out of the building.
The DEA said in a separate post earlier in the day that the "multi-agency enforcement operation" at an "underground nightclub" early on Sunday had also resulted in the seizure of drugs and weapons. The raid appears to be one of the largest single-day arrests of people without legal status since Trump was inaugurated in January, with a promise to conduct mass deportations. www.npr.org/...
There is some pretty scary stuff floating around out here about this. I can only add a few things comfortably at this point.
“Federal officials floated claims that the club was frequented by members of MS-13, Tren de Aragua, and the Hells Angels. Yep, a Venezuelan cartel, a Central American street gang and a notorious American biker gang - all supposedly rubbing shoulders and partying together with guns and drugs in a Colorado Springs nightclub, that no one knew about.” I’ve heard it was mostly just regular people, more or less, but Idk. Probably a few tough guys at clubs everywhere, I’ve seen movies.
U.S. Attorney General Bondi said on X many of those inside the club were gang members and “terrorists” and named different drugs that were seized, (mostly in small packets on the ground.)
And yet, no federal or local criminal charges have been filed against anyone as of this posting. No one from the U.S. Attorney’s Office cared to comment. Bondi commented that (only) two people, out of more than 100, inside the club had existing warrants.
DEA Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen told reporters early Sunday morning that Colorado Springs was safer as a result of his agents’ work. Gosh, those fellas could not pat each other on the back hard or fast enough. But take note of this:
“Pullen, (who) has previously acknowledged that sending people through immigration proceedings is easier than proving criminal cases in court”
and they can very quickly get them on a one-way plane ride to El Salvador. Not Snark.

(Just reporting on this as I noticed it was hardly mentioned. Are huge raids like this occurring throughout the country now, and we are simply becoming desensitized to it? The comments in the local papers are cheering this on. It almost feels like a mob mentality. Am I over-reacting?)
