Howdy all,
Quick one. I'm watching a show, and they asked what should be on a progressive hat. This is my idea—4T99. This stands for “For the lower 99%.” The larger version is I’m willing to sacrifice one percent for the well-being of the lower 99%. It focuses on who the real opposition is to a good, happy life for the rest of us.
I’m really big on the idea that throughout history, one percent of humanity has ruled the rest of us via an old, well-worn but successful playbook. The plays include distract and snatch, othering, the divine right of kings, the divine right of money rats in a barrel, divide and conquer, etc.
In closing, you must always know who your opposition is and overcome them to succeed. It’s pretty obvious our opposition is the one percent.
