Donald wants all the canals now [1]

Still on his way back from the Pope's funeral, Trump decided the Panama Canal isn't enough. Now he wants the Suez Canal too.
Well, not really. He just thinks we should get free passage because we're the United States.
"American Ships, both Military and Commercial, should be allowed to travel, free of charge, through the Panama and Suez Canals."
The reason the canals operate is by collecting fees, with some profit. It's called a business. Something you don't know much about, for all your claims.
"Those Canals would not exist without the United States of America."
That's not true at all about the Suez Canal. We had nothing to do with it. It was a French and Egyptian consortium that built it, and it opened in 1869. The French thought they knew what they were doing after the Suez Canal, and thought they could build the one in Panama as well, but didn't succeed. It was several decades later when we did get it built.
Egypt nationalized the Suez Canal in 1956, and we stuck our nose into the crisis, but we have no claim on construction and right to free passage. Same with the Panama Canal. We made Panama promise to treat all passage fees the same to all. It's in the treaty.
"I've asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio to immediately take care of, and memorialize, this situation."
Seeing as how Marco Rubio has been a complete failure negotiating with Ukraine and Russia, why do you expect him to do any better now? Both Panama and Egypt are going to tell Rubio to go away and never bother them again.
And what does "memorialize" mean? This isn't some Confederate statue. It's a canal. How do you memorialize a canal? Okay, it's the situation you're memorializing. I still don't know what it means. I don't think you do either. Is it just because you just came back from the Pope's funeral, which in a sense was a memorial?
Somehow, Donald has gotten extremely confused and doesn't even know what he's asking. It's another one of those, bow down to me or else statements. What are you going to do, throw more tariffs at them?
Next, Donald will want the canals on Mars because Musk wants to go to Mars and own the planet.
What Donald probably needs is a root canal with lots of Novocaine so he can't talk for a while. Darn, he'll still be able to type.
Maybe a straitjacket.
