Among the bombardment of fundraising texts I receive on an hourly basis, one caught my eye: “URGENT: Dictator Donald Trump is ATTACKING ActBlue...” I thought, is this from ActBlue?
No. With a little sleuthing, I found out It was from a PAC called BLUE AMP Action.
Who?
According to Open Secrets, in 2024 Blue AMP Action spent a whopping 67% of the 1 million plus $$ it raised on …
Fundraising. $981137 according to Open Secrets.
Web Ads: $265, 515 (18.39%)
The rest was spent on salaries, consultants, administrative, “technology”, Unclassified, etc.
I didn’t give them money.
If anyone knows anything about this PAC, I would be interested to know it.
