President vs. Military, Same Oath, Same Standard [1]
['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.']

The President may not wear the uniform.
But he wears the title of Commander in Chief—
And that means he commands the people who would be court-martialed for defying their oath.
Let’s be clear:
The President and the military swear the same oath.
Not to a man. Not to a party. Not to a flag.
To the Constitution.
Every private, every general, every service member knows what it means to risk everything in defense of that oath.
So why should the man at the top be held to less?
If a soldier is punished for disobedience,
a president must be punished for betrayal.
The chain of command doesn’t run through ego. It runs through duty.
And if the Commander in Chief breaks faith with that duty?
Then he’s not leading the military.
He’s disgracing it.
