Let's Establish a National Protest Poster Contest [1]

In my new book Willful Ignorance and Stupid Political Decisions I offer a wide variety of strategies for fighting against the Trump/Musk disaster. One of these strategies encourages us to exploit the attention grabbing value of novelty and humor. In this regard, capitalizing on novelty, why not have Indivisible or some other progressive organization establish a national Protest Poster Contest? Perhaps find a donor willing to give $1 million as incentive for prizes in various categories (e.g., most artistic, most humorous, best slogan, best acronym, most mocking, etc.). The Hands Off protests were terrific, but this cannot be a one-off event. There are countries such as Georgia, Romanian, Hungary, etc. that are protesting autocracy and oligarchy every day. In Georgia, they have protested for more than 130 days straight in huge numbers. In America, we are not as far along in the march toward autocracy and complete control by oligarchs, but we are moving rapidly in this direction. So, we must strike now in all directions relentlessly. The protest poster contest is just one of many novel ideas that can be implemented to break the tedium of “yet another demonstration.” Let’s get busy!!!!
