Haiti, death unnoticed [1]

The unspoken tragedy of Haitians.
Haitians are being kidnapped, tortured, raped, and killed by the gangs, their houses and belongings are being burnt and they are forced time after time to flee to another more “secured” location. Food supplies are being cut off. Hospitals and pharmacies were also burnt and looted. Schools suffer the same fate.
In 2025 alone over two thousand people have been killed in Haiti a country that is at war with no one. Yet, indifference meets those deaths as the gun traffic keeps flowing into the hands of gangs. Electricity is a rare luxury afforded once in a few months to some places, internet? What’s that?
There are no planes in the capital of Haiti, if you are there you are in fact in a prison. There’s no more anesthesia, meds are scarce, food supplies are short and international aid has been cut (usaid). Children are dying not only of hunger, but fevers, asthma attacks, colds…. Any illness can be fatal.
The government, political parties, organizations, accord parties, oppositions and international communities seem more interested in meetings, discussions, and negotiations for who will grab power, than the daily death toll growing under their eyes.
The friends of Haiti country have airlifted their constituents out of danger, rather than trying to stop the violence. No one seems to be interested in the human plight of Haiti, except to use it as an excuse or pawn in their so-called negotiations.
As they talk, as they meet… Haitians keep dying and running and crying under the indifferent eyes of the world. For sure there’s a lot of talk about Haiti and the human tragedy unfolding… but frankly that’s just talk, no one is doing a damn thing to stop it from happening.
Do you know the prime directive of the coalition to help stem the violence in Haiti? Do not engage the gangs.
Do you realize some families have had to relocate more than 6 times in the last 4 years? Thousands of families have lost all but the clothes on their backs. Every family has someone missing, dead or kidnapped? Some have more than one.
It must be so nice to have the luxury of dragging talks and negotiations when you are in a safe haven, while the ones you claim you are “fighting” to save are dying every minute of every hour, but you and yours are safe so you can drag it out as long as you want, you won’t be the ones crying over the lost of a loved one.
How truly heroic you are.
