Tariffs. It's the other side that is driving Donnie. [1]

When I say the other side, I mean the COLLECTION of said tariffs. Trump is convinced that the US was “richest” in the 1890’s (yes. he really does). Pre-income tax. That’s his goal. The tariff money goes to the “government” and they dole it out, bypassing the budget process, laws, etc, etc.
Trump continuously says that “we’re taking in billions”. What the hell does that even mean? He’s become an Executive Order president, thrashing around and denying reality.
He can yammer on all day about bringing factories back to America, but he wants the “trillions” that the tariffs will bring. The collateral damage is immaterial and economics mean nothing to him.
In reality, Trump’s a mob boss wanna be, except he ain’t got the stones (and brains or discipline) to pull it off. Frankly, he’s ridiculous. And deteriorating.
