RapidResponse47, which I like to call RabidResponse47, put up a post that had me choking to death just from the heading.

"On Earth Day, We Finally Have A President Who Follows Science."

Eugenics? The Darwin Awards? Astrology? Phrenology? Creationism? Flat-Earthism? C'mon, give me a clue.

He's "leveraging environmental policies rooted in reality to promote economic growth..."

"Unlike the previous administration, which wasted billions of taxpayer dollars on virtue signaling and ineffective grifts..."

Virtue signaling. That's a new one. Does anyone have any idea what that means? Ineffective grifts. About the man whose main livelihood is grifting. Irony personified.

"...Americans are the best stewards of our natural resources..."

Yes they are. They know far better than a PR propaganda outlet about how to take care of the Earth.

"...no 'Green New Scam' required."

There is no "Green New Scam." Green New Deal was a term AOC and Sen. Ed Markey came up with in early 2019 to describe legislation that would remake the economy and eliminate all U.S. carbon emissions.

You can read the legislation online here at NPR.

It was bold and necessary. It never got past the Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources on 2/17/2019 as H.R. 109. Trump was in power then and he still has no concept of global warming or climate change. He is a fossil fuels addict and wants us to use coal again. His "beautiful clean coal." Moron. At the time, the term was global warming.

We have since learned that Trump and Republicans think warming doesn't exist because it still gets cold in the winter. In 2015 Sen. Inhofe from Oklahoma brought a snowball into the Senate as proof global warming didn't exist.

We now call it climate change because of the lack of intelligence on their part. It really doesn't matter. Trump and the Republicans don't believe in climate change either. Every year there is more proof of it, and the danger gets greater will never be able to recover. But the fossil fuel industry got Trump into power and he's returning the favor.

We all know that trees are good, right? They store carbon. They're good for the environment. So, in February, Trump canceled the funding for the National Arbor Day Foundation. Millions of trees no longer being planted across the country. Everybody who wanted to plant one was a volunteer. They just had to get the seedlings to them.

Why was the funding canceled? The Forest Service said it no longer fit into their concept of diversity, equity and inclusion. Somehow trees were DEI.

Here's a picture RabidResponse47 put up with the article praising the Trump administration and Trump personally.

Take a look. It's a gold shovel. There's no ground breaking ceremony he's done since taking office. He's digging a grave for us, and it will happen so slowly, unless you're in Lahaina on Maui, or Altadena next to Los Angeles. Those fires are proof. The picture of him digging is probably for the magnolia tree that was at the left entrance of the White House that had to be taken out because it was in bad shape and dangerous. But there was no attribution in the article.

The headings for the article continue:

"President Trump promoting energy innovation for a healthier future."

Going back to oil, gas, and coal is hardly innovation.

"President Trump is championing sound forest management."

How is he doing this? By expanding logging.

"President Trump is ending the forced use of paper straws."

Maybe that's his only plus in this incredibly stupid article. Reusable straws are possible, however. I still think my idea of straws made out of fiberglass is viable. Won't transmit the heat of metal, they won't add to the taste, and they're reusable. You just have to wash them.

"President Trump is cutting wasteful regulations that stifle Innovation and raise costs."

The man does have a penchant for getting rid of regulations, especially financial ones that get in the way of his grift. Here, he's gutting the National Environmental Protection Act that created the Environmental Protection Agency. In the hands of Lee Zeldin, progress just went back 50 years.

"President Trump is protecting public lands."

By opening them to oil gas and coal interests so they can rape the land, just like Trump loves to rape everything.

"President Trump is protecting wildlife."

Sure, birds and butterflies like polluted air. Fish love polluted streams and rivers and oceans. How is he protecting wildlife? He's doing it by pausing wind power generation projects that he thinks hurt whales.

Donald gets a score of zero on Earth Day for doing nothing but increase climate change. He can rail at China for being the biggest polluter, but we're second in line. We have to set an example to the rest of the world, but Donald pulled us out of the Paris Accord.

I changed my rating. Donald gets an F minus. As low as you can go, because that's where you'll find him. Still digging that grave.

Save the Earth. Get rid of Donald Trump.
